@TehIPanda exactly what im looking for ):, i put the video fx on and then it goes through the wholc clip rather than just one part, i tried messing with the kryframes, still no luck. the only thing that worked (bady) was split the clip (click where you want the effect and press 's') then just put the effect on the second part

I got it back :D all i had to do was go down to my task bar right click and then i uncheck the "lock the task bar" button then i click my task bar and drag it to the side of my screen and BOOM there my video event FX window was...it was hidden under my taskbar but i just dont know how it got there =/

say you want it to blur when for example, he was landing, beofore he lands put a key frame, with no effect and then one straght after. what this stops it from doing is slowly getting more blurred as it gets closer to the clip.

I wonder something, I did just the same as you on this tutorial , but when I dragged the blur over to the clip nothing happened, The video event fx didnt come up in a new window, but the window you have next to the Auto preview came up. But I didn't get the same choises as you did on how much blur you wanted, the blur just came automaticly into the video. The same count's for when I'm going to put text on something, the auto preview just shows sample text and I cant control whar to write in it..

When the box open when u drag the effect across use the keyframes to turn the effect down and up

Highlight the part you want to have the effect, you can either split the file or right click - cut - paste in same spot and apply effect to only that new part.

I just really wanted to know if it's possible at all to have the video FX timeline, near your REAL timeline.

For example: I am trying to sync a video with the music in the background, yet i find my self stranded, as that video FX pop up only allows me to see the video, but not the music that plays with it.

Is it really a hit and miss mission i am facing? Or is there an easier way around it?
