The way is not as simple as for oil. The reasons, all of them, were wrong and built on lies. Most importantly I feel for all those who have dies there. Especially the women children and civilians. It is very sad and tragic. More than anything I cry for those children. I keep seeing children who are the ages of my children and wonder what there lives have become, what their lives were like just before many of them passed.

eh? the usa has well over a million men and women in its military and reserves. 170,000 in iraq. thats well over 830,000 that could be deployed on other fronts. the usa has nearly 10,000 warplanes. the usa has 13 aircraft carriers, the next closest is great britain with 4, the usa has over 300 warships, down from almost 600 15 years ago.

the usa can fight on many fronts if neccessary.

hopefully it will never be necessary tho.

It is the largest standing army in the world and includes naval, air, and strategic nuclear force (2.3 million active troops).That number alone dwarf's our military forces. Lets not put all of the enemies we're making daily in the same pool. You'll then understand why the military itself knows that we dont have the forces to fight on 3 fronts, we're spread to thin unfortunately.

When America had its own oil it could threaten the middle-east without repercussions but now that America's own oil is finished, it needs middle-east oil to run its military to control the middle-east, that's why this war was so risky and that's why it's failing.

Acctually America still has oil in some areas. Like places in west Texas still has oil and there are miles of oil rigs (that are running). And Alaska has alot of oil but environmentalist wont let the gorvernment get oil from there.
