A book I have recently read notes that the issue with the whole 2012 thing is that it is very open to interpretation, and each expert will have their own thoughts on the subject. The cycles are really the only thing that all the experts agree on apparently

I've just listened to allot of this 2012 stuff, I dont know much about the Mayans "Actual" history, other than what discovery's told me, lol But I have picked enough out of all the info that they didn't believe anything ends, everything runs in cycles, and this new age or what we believe is "The end of all" is actually just the end of the age of aquarius, and the start of the next sign. That's just what Ive gathered but I'm as far from an expert as it gets lol.
