Probably one of the best composed renditions of this song on YouTube. It's hard to find exceptional ones. Yes, they're "good" I guess, but there's something missing, like pronounciation, blending of voices at times, VOLUME, etc. But this seems to be pretty good all around.

We (Circle Middle School) did this for Contest, except that it was only a mixed ensemble with about 20 kids I think (out of about 80). Wonderful job.

I have to sing this October 27th with my school's, Carroll M. Johnston's, Advanced Choir class, and I'm a second row tenor, with the higher notes unlike a lot of the other guys in the tenors(hoorah to the 7th grader better than the 8th graders)

omg, you guys are awesome... we did this exact same version in our concert choir at my school earlier his year. it was so much fun sing. Im an alto!! GO ALTOS!!!

@kushayah25 I'm a tenor, and I'd say go altos because altos are cool, but the altos in my choir suck. we have a lot less tenors than sophrano and alto, but we are still just as good. actually better because the altos barely sing (at least 15 alto, 15 sophranos, and 12 tenors, but I'm only sure of the tenors)

@kirrem12 haha thats like opposite my choir because us altos literally yell out our parts but i think it sounds good because we can carry our parts. when i posted that I was in 7th grade in the concert choir and now im in 8th grade in the concert choir and we sound horriblle because we just got the former 6th graders and they make us sound like crap but i guess it shud get better. our ext concert we sing a song called "Sally Garden", "Turkey in the Straw", and Ezekial Saw the Wheel"

@kushayah25 lol, because last year at my school the tenors really sucked and couldn't be heard and this year they are awesome (because this year, they have me). Personally though, all our parts have problems. The sophranos are too good at singing the chorus, so they aren't good at sight reading, all the other tenors talk or play around too much, and the altos don't sing out enough. we have great potential, but practically nobody takes it seriously

@jade1196 I sing Tenor and btw, I AM a guy and my outfit sucks. black slacks and shoes, white button up shirt, BLUE cumberbun and BLUE bowtie(so we are "different" from the intermediate and beginner choir classes)

It helps me a lot, because my school choir is singing it for our evaluation this year.

I've sung it already once for all-county, so i know this song by heart<3. It's a beautiful song, and the men's solo part is amazingg.
