well. so here goes. my sister thursday night around 1100 pm attempted suicide. she woke me up at 2 am told me she loves me no matter what. at 4 am she woke me up once again by yelling my name, she was immobile and lathargic. she told me she had been throwing up and asked me to get her a bag because she couldnt go to the bathroom. i didnt know what she had done. but she rolled over and i saw a pill laying on the bed. i begged her to tell me what she had done. but she wouldnt tell me at the time.

I need this prayer for my friend. He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder because his father is a sociopath. He's a Christian but he finds it so hard to love others because he's afraid of getting hurt again. My dream for him is that he can deal with all his past emotions and pain no matter how difficult it is to face and find healing. He plans on writing a book about it that I will edit! I need this prayer for my friend. He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder because his father is a sociopath. He's a Christian but he finds it so hard to love others because he's afraid of getting hurt again. My dream for him is that he can deal with all his past emotions and pain no matter how difficult it is to face and find healing. He plans on writing a book about it that I will edit! Sometimes the things you want aren't what God wants you to have at the moment. Get you act together and read the Bible. You NEED God. You can't see a doctor, but you can talk to God. That happens to be difficult to say, as I haven't lived all that long. If I tell my friend that had stage IV lung cancer that she has no hope, stop living. The doctors said you won't see Christmas. Give up. By your standards is it true? (By mine? No.) Yes. Does it help anyone?
I am also free to cuss, smoke tobacco, drink alcohol in excess, give angry looks to people who are undeserving, hate my family, but no good comes out of it.

I have been praying so hard for a friend lately.these past couple of weeks he has not been the man i used to know.he is being misguided by someone who supposedly cares for him.this song reminds me so much of my friend who i hope will one day be the man of God he was,or a better man having gone through this.

Wow really a true inspiring song some people including me is scared to share Jesus with a friend or tel them that we are praying for them. All because we are somewhat of ashamed but Jesus wasn't ashamed to claim us as his children when he bore that cross. I can say I'm a truly devout christian but i see now that i have drifted away from my Lord and Savoir. Thank you Casting Crowns for having the faith the fear to proclaim Jesus anywhere anytime. Amen.

as i sit here on break at work listening to this song, i think of two people one very close to me.. a really good friend of mine was out of state on a family trip, she was on her way back to Alaska and was in a car accident in Canada..she was thrown up above the top bunk of the rv and out the window then hit the pavement... i can only pray for her as i know that she is in surgery... .....

Why we suffer problems here on earth is because of sin. Poverty and everything is the cause of sin of man. We suffer because of sin. We have problems because of sin. Bad things happen because of sin. But sometimes God allows bad things happen to us to test our faith in him. Look at Job even though he lost so many things he still praise God. So please in our lives today we should always trust in the Lord our God even though we are in harsh trials of life right now. In the end God will come for us

My best friend is too blind to see that God wants her and she has problems with her mom and also her dad isn't there for her and he doesn't even call her. BUT I will always show her all the amazings things God is doin' for the ones who believe. She is not sure what she wants to believe in and I hope I can be the one who will open her eyes and let her now that Jesus is the one who is waiting for her to let Him in. @tallliza I don't know whats goin' on in your life but God just wants us to love Him and have a personal relationship with Him no matter how big our sin is. He knows exactly what we want to say in prayers but he still wants to hear us saying the prayers. How great is that? He loves everyone, He loves you no matter what you think or say and killing others doesn't make Him happy it makes Him sad. Seeing hate is the last thing He wants to see in the world.

"non-believers & people who believe in other religions"- God is waiting for them even if they doesn't want him, His hands are open and he loves each one of them." those hitting their dad"- my friend has hit his dad long time ago and look at him now, God has forgive Him, he has a full job and a good relationship with parents

You know Guys I have a friend, a close friend of mine. he died last year. I cried and suffered because I didn't tell him everything about Jesus.. Brothers and sisters in Christ don't let your friend go away like mine, just keep on praying and Do not give up with your friends telling about Jesus... use your tongues Guys. sorry about my english but sadly this is a true story.

She was raised in church but has strayed along the way with the "help" of a Wiccan friend she went to school with. All I know to do Lord, is to lift her up to You.
