  • there is not one so called country superstar on the market today that has half the talent of this woman... news alert !!!!! the most talented country artist today are in their 50's.... but the ones like bogguss and mattea are still on the road touring--- lucky for the true country music fans !!!!!

  • spelling check suzy b o g g u s s !!!!

  • Crystal clear notes and voice. Heart breaker!!!

  • I still love this thanks

  • Hey Guys! Well, my buddies and I are making a country band called, TheCountrySideGirls (Of course). And our songs are coming out soon. Well, only two. Anyways, I was hoping you could spread the word about it and also subscribe to us and like us on face book. So yeah.... LOVE THIS SONG

  • Suzy's gorgeous take on this Hag song holds a very special place in my heart - thanks!

  • Merle Haggard is untouchable because he wrote this along with numerous other great songs, but Suzy Bogguss does it justice here.

  • waardeloos orginal tumbleweeds is beter

  • This bunch of singer's that have hijacked country music today can't hold a light on this lady then or now..

  • I don't think patsy can touch this voice And I like patsy

  • very good why is country radio gone pop I just don't like this bunch singing and trying to pass it off as country

  • Suzy is just simply the real thing. No fluff, no fake, no phoney. Just real honest talent, drop dead good looks, and a voice that was born in heaven. I sure wish she would record some more....

  • she sings it just as good as haggard

  • love this song its one of my favorite ones ...

  • One of the, if not THE purest voice in country music...she's right there with Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris

  • I love this song... specially whn m dancin wt my guy.... :-*

  • Now that is the way this one is supposed to be sung. I just put this one up it was my first time to try singing it.

  • I loved this when I first heard it all those years back. I taped this Wembley country series off the tv when it was on but have lost it all through time. You wouldn't have Townes Van Zandt's performance from this year would you? Great if you have. Would love to see that again.

  • my most favorite song...thanks for this song..coockiestv

  • That my friends is an honest to God, no holds barred Country-Western female vocalist. They don't make a lot like that anymore.

  • Why nothing recent? Just too much real talent, I guess. The "market" prefers Taylor Swift, fluff, and cotton candy nothing! Suzy has an incredible voice, and like Chet said, "Boys, she ain't half bad looking, either!"

  • Pretty lady, beautiful song!

    Thanks and God Bless,

    Jeff

  • I've heard this song by many different artist over the yeas, does anyone know who had the original hit?

Or who were some of the singers who "hit" with it?

  • Merle Haggard!!!

  • @LamarFine Merle Haggard wrote it and had the first hit with it. Suzy does a great job on this song, great true singer. But, Merle does it best. Suzy does it like Merle, she just does it like a Lady, that is all. Great job Suzy, you are a joy to listen to. I am sure Merle is proud, also.
