The Bamboos are SO SMOKIN'! I first heard them on KFJC radio here in San Francisco Bay area when the DJ was playing In the Bamboo Groove from their first album Step it up. I called and said, "what is that PURE FIRE that you are playing?!" Now I own almost all their albums and spin their vinyl 7-inches whenever I DJ. I only wish they would visit California so I could see them live! If you dig the Bamboos, you will love the Los Angeles based band Breakestra (Live Mix Vol II and Dusk till Dawn)

Oh man...why did this clip have to end so soon?! If anyone digs this sound, they are alot like "The Glory Revival", a band I used to go see alot in Phoenix AZ back in the late 90s / early 2000s. No longer together, but when they were, they set the house on FIRE! Their album "Stand Up" is fantastic. Check check it out!
