Oh, a theramin. Those things are truly...strange. However, I've seen theramins made using Nintendo Wiimotes sync'd with an iR sensor controlling a synth. I've also seen a real theramin outputting to a microphone which then went through a guitar FX board and amp. Really neat things you can do with these if you use your imagination.

I think the range of the instrument is very limited, so notes are widely spaced, pitches are quantized to be in tune and the vibrato is added electronically - it is very even in width and speed and continuous. The second pitch antenna makes the pitch field very linear, according to his website.

you are right. not all sounds come from the theremin. Only the one that sounds a bit like a choir or something. I think the rest jus comes out of a speaker. but when those two are combined they make beautiful music like this.
