@racheldevis The choir thing at the beginning? That's "Carmina Burana - O Fortuna" by Carl Orff. The recording is one I did changing the lyrics to "Kamehameha". I abandoned the idea when I found there are actually still copyright holders of that piece... I ended up recording "Kamehameha the Great" instead. But I snuck the little I had done into the opening of this video ^^ The actual reading exercise is just some stuff I wrote trying to mix up easy note values.

I say do whatever works for you. The main point was just to get you more familiar with the notes on the staff.
