For the life of me, I cannot understand why Rod Stewart would rather tour around singing sappy "timless" drivel "classics", instead of delivering the raw rock he was originally known for.Clearly he still has the voice for it (based on this video). Jeff Beck,on the other hand, has only antied up his worth of immeasurable talent since his early days with the Yardbirds.

@hazor777 Yeah, Stewart was right there with Plant in the early days of British Heavy Med. with Jeff. Where he went with all that solo ballad shit is of no interest. And yes, Jeff has continued to push the envelope to present day.
