  • awesome video

  • is the wave beam required? because i seriously cant do the giant wall jump.

  • That is the long way. It's easier to get first the speed booster jumping in green bubbles wall, then go down for the wave, return to the green and do all the other things since 7:00

  • is super missile the same damage as 5 missiles?

  • i found the trick to wall jumping is to hit 'A' and the opposite direction as SOON as you hit the wall. do not wait till you start falling again. or else you'll...just fall again. hope that helps!

  • cant do the freaking walljump D:

  • In Metroid (NES), if you got the ice beam, the wave beam was cancelled out, and vice versa.

Is that true in Super Metroid?

aka. do you lose the wave beam after you get the ice beam?

  • @BravoCharlieNiner No, you have a beam that is both wave and ice together.

  • When you got the missile at 00:58..... you know, you don't have to get everything. You can without all the missiles. I came to realize that after playing it a couple times.

  • I can't get the wave beam! How do you do that wall jump technique?

  • what does tha auto thing next to the energy tanks mean

  • How / Where do you get that triple-shot-thingy? I've got Ice Beam, grapple beam and are close to the gravity suit, but i still don't have that one. :S Optional?

  • #^@$%*@^$*#$ I hate wall jumping. Worst mechanic in the game.

  • I love this walkthrough... it helped me with mine :)

  • great player

  • Go to hell.

  • Hum, yeah, I was confused about it... sorry for saying that....my mistake

    Thanks for explaining

  • Psh you can get Wave before Ice.. I can get Speed Booster Before Wave. (With out running past the door) Mind you it does take Ice beam or a hell of a good wall jumper.

  • Comment removed

  • quief beam samus could do it =p

  • lmao

  • its seadra! hahaha

  • in the room where u got the 2nd missile tank, is where i start on the demo version of this game on super smash brawl.

  • LOL the lava spitters at 10:25 look just like the lava spitters from Super Mario Land World 2-1.

  • is that the onle way to get the wave beam

  • No. If you're playing the game in the straight way (no hidden shortcuts or early items) you come back here when you get the grapple beam. Those blocks with the holes in them that were on the ceiling are grapple points. If you miss is then, you should come back once you've gotten the space jump as well. The wave beam I don't think is nessescary to beat the game, but it makes it a lot more easier.

  • I thought so. Thanks for assuring me

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Varia Suit's suppose to negate effects of extreme temperatures (i.e. you shouldn't take damage from lava)? Or was it Gravity Suit?

  • The Varia Suit protects Samus from extreme high or extremely low temperatures. The Gravity Suit allows her to move freely in water and protects from Lava (But not Acid).

  • but i dont get how she can go into the morph ball i cant picture what its like can you help me picture what its likee in the morphball?

  • awfull

    in lava u get pwned

  • lol only a Japanese Genius coulda thought of sumthing like that =P

  • @Zarzanator look it up on google they have examples >:)

    pretty perveted ones lol

  • @Zarzanator her body turns into energy when going morph ball

  • @SonicTheHedgehog17 that is actuallynot lava in norfair. Funnily enough its acid and s i tried to swim in it with the gravity suit and died XD

  • how do you do wall jump

  • easily, do a spinning jump towards a wall, then hold away when ur on the wall and then pres and hold jump again and again and again (note: this takes practice)

  • how do you do wal jump

  • LOL at 3:53 the lava spitters are acting like chickens!XD

  • at 4:52 that is an enemy on fusion that must be screw attacked!

  • Wow, moving spikes. That means they hurt even more then the normal ones.

  • getting the wave beam before the ice one...that's new to me i gotta try that one

  • :P Very old trick, and easy to accomplish: Therefore I think it's a path everyone should follow.

  • yea cos the wave beam w/o the spaser beam looks awsome i always used to try and get it before the grapple beam when i was a kid not know what a grapple beam was back then of course. faluire ensured XD i'll try and do this but i can't get the hang of the wall jump playing fusion for too long buttered me up lol

  • I think its better to get Wave before Ice in Zero Mission because in Super you can just turn off beams to customize it anyway. In zero mission the wave beam charge sounds cool without the ice beam. Though sadly you need the Ice beam to beat Zero Mission. I tried to go without it but forgot that the Metroid room doors seal after you enter them so I came into a death trap :(

  • Why would you take this path? it wastes time. You took the long way to get both the wave and ice beam.

  • @Kunzile yet... It is also entirely possible to skip the high jump. Therefore It is easy to get the Wave beam easily with out Highjump or Ice Beam.

  • so do i own at it but i cant find the ice beam

  • i love that game
