thank you for this video! i got a ukulele for christmas and this is my first song and so you're my teacher :D. could you tell me again what the last part "so i crawl back into your open arms" is like? i think it's not 9,7,7,2 as you wrote "afiercegrace" but 11,9,9,2 sounds strange too! at least 11, but i couldn't identify the right chord by listening or watching.

I'm a begginer on ukulele (although I have played the clarinet for 7 years) so I may be wrong, but you said the last part "so I crawl back into your arms" was on 11, 9, 9, and 2 but after listening to the song I think it's 10, 8, 8, 3. Let me know what you think!

i screwed up a little there, if your frame of reference is the 3 fingers that are on the same fret, then its 9, 7, 7, 2

just listen and you'll hear that its right

this is a great tutorial. i love this song. i don't really understand the chords you are holding for the chorus. (around 4:50)

so up until the chorus you're sliding around three fingers. the first chord is putting all three fingers on the second fret. Then for the next chord everything stays the same except the on the 3rd string (the middle one you've been holding down) you hold the 1st fret instead of the second. Then from this new chord just let go of the 2nd string to get the next chord. Then put all three fingers on the 4th fret of the bottom 4 strings for the last chord.

After watching it about 30 times I got it and have all the pieces down, now it's just a matter of practicing it 10000 more times until it sounds smooth. Thank you for making one of my favorite songs in the world so easy to learn on my favorite instrument. 5 stars!!
