  • fuck everyone who commented on this video.. shit thats me to sigh fuck you all

  • but not enough the bangles, those four prostitutes

  • These girls are so good. I can't believe that everyone with a ear for music isn't shouting for their songs to be played on more radio stations. When these girls play if you stand up you can't help but want to dance and move about.

  • Shoegazing's not dead! Have you ever tried Lush, The Primitives, The Shop Assistants, Belly or The Sundays?

  • Does the chick going La La La La have a tongue piercing?

  • These girls are so pretty!

Uhm but if this sound is stolen, please sue them. If you can't, stfu.

  • It may not be the most original thing you've ever heard but that doesn't means it's bad. This is way better than most music around today.

  • goddamnit. im sick of bands trying to steal the jesus and mary chain sound. come up with something new for gods sake

  • they should use this for an apple commerical or something

  • found my new favorite group!!! well my favorite group after koop!!! hahaha rime :D

  • @Foofarawmusic is right. This is all subcultures, cultures, and times being meshed into one thing! This is a very exciting time indeed. A new Paradigm has formed and there is a shift! Join OCCUPY SMOKE DMT. If you guys don't know this by now the hipster subculture has been changed because of dmt. You can now to go other dimensions and dance with entities by smoking a drug. They show you geometrical patterns like in "Bedroom Eyes" If only people knew...This is what all the Hipsters are doing.

  • one of my favourite songs of all time

  • love this song . my fave.

  • Lo-Fi makes me want to rip my ears off. Its ok if the instruments sound like they're in the room, not down the street in a closed garage. It's ok that I want to hear you sing, not just the highest end flicker of the tweeter but your whole voice.

  • Can you please come to monterrey, mexico? I love you girls... :D

  • oh mean! this song is so good!!

from South American .... We Love it

  • excellent, more vids - superlative yum! -frank- / model daughters

  • They remind me somewhat of Lush. I like it.

  • i dont know why dum dum girls get so much hate compared to everyone else...

  • This song reminds me of Kristen Stewart.. it's the theme song for her ELLE shoot...:)

  • They ROCKED ROCK N COKE 2011!

  • WOW i cannot not believe people, you are all so caught up in bullshit, why are you talking about the 90s or the 80s or whatever, why are you talking about lady gaga??? This is NOW and this is awesome music isnt that all that matters... and why even mention the word hipster its like any rock band who has vintage sound, is white, and has a little fun with the artistic direction of the band is hipster, that is such bullshit and so is everything people are talking about on here

  • @foofarawmusic what a hipster answer! So were you born in the 90's or the 80's? :D

  • @foofarawmusic agreed about the music, but to be honest - vintage sound, 16mm videos, second-hand clothing etc. are some of the things that hipster aesthetics is made of :)

  • @foofarawmusic This song sounds like a 1980's hipster version of Lady Gaga

  • another boring Mary Chain rip off but with hipster sluts more interssted in fashion than songwriting

  • @kingalow1 thanks bro. i farted into my hand and smelled my own fart. it was kind of a meaty heavy smell.

  • @theearr You might want to try eating more fruit.

  • @endrake2 I knew there was something missing in my life. Advice taken, thank you very much

  • @theearr lol I like your style.

  • @kingalow1 Mary Chain, another boring Velvet Underground and Phil Spector rip off but with, for that time, hipster homos.

  • i love these girls in the not creepy way, great music great looks

  • xx

  • i love this video

  • Comment removed

  • I like their vocal style a lot.I see in interviews they credit Ronettes as an influence, though instead of a Phil Spector-esque "wall of sound",they have more of a "wall of voices".Quite appealing I like it they also cite my fave singer ever, Hope Sandoval&her old band Mazzy Star, although their sound's quite different than Mazzy's mostly slow & melancholy "dream pop".Dum Dum's are far more upbeat & poppy like the Ramones, who they also cite.

They sound good&refreshing to these tired old ears!

  • how cool video

  • Yeah, fucking awesome song and awesome vid. My anthem for the day!

  • the song of year!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song! Great melody! One of those songs that gets better with every listen!

  • i remember this from a behind the cover video from elle.com

while they were shooting kristen stewart.

    really love this song!

  • reminds me of the primitives. never heard of them? check out their song crash. it was on the dumb and dumber soundtrack

  • @2ndXary Crash is a classic. The one that appears in Dumb and Dumber isn't the original one. I think it's called "Crash '94" or something of that nature. The original one came out in 1988. Although, the two are close sounding, there are some differences and do prefer the original 1988 version.

  • @LedWilde I remember. The one in Dumb and Dumber is the '95 remix. If anyone ants to hear Crash the original way, search for "Primitives Crash 1988."

  • If you don't like it then don't listen to it. While they are not going to send anyone into shock over how crazy new or groundbreaking they are, they are a lot better than most. So sip your pabst, bum a smoke from your friend and just shut up and enjoy :)

  • @plastik41 i'd rather not shut up and enjoy, lol. Heineken :)

  • see you all at bowery ballroom tomorrow night!

  • the vid was way better than the song.

  • @Bfuckin7 Well put!

  • @Bfuckin7 That's right. Whenever you talk about particular entertainers, you're validating their superior quality, even if you're talking about how much you hate them. That's why Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are great artists. (Would anyone be talking about them otherwise?) Congratulations on proving that your opinion is a fact.

  • @stansfield8 Barring the dry, unfunny sarcasm that tends to be synonymous with the hipster make, it's almost as if you're saying that Justin Beiber is catchy or even any good. His music makes late 90's boy bands seem Dylanesque. I don't mind Lady Gaga....I respect her success because I can see why her songs reach and move as many people as they do. Badass eccentric image, catchy pop tunage, promotion, production, all of it + more coming together at the same time is what put her where she is.

  • @stansfield8 Popularity and quality really aren't synonymous. For example, the song "Friday" by Rebecca Black became hugely popular precisely because it is so unanimously awful. Almost everyone agrees that it is terrible, so it's easy to commune on how bad it is. That's what makes it popular; it has no intellectual value and it is totally devoid of quality (aside from production quality, I suppose).

  • @Bfuckin7 the 90's sound is coming back.. all the kids that grew up in the 90's are now in there mid 20's and starting bands: I don't really consider them "hipster", there's actually a whole scene of bands that sound like this now...all these beachy noise-pop/lo-fi bands, it's like the new sensation: Wavves, Best Coast, Vivian Girls, Dum Dum Girls... to me they all sound like the Raveonettes, but i like it.

  • i miss grand ole party... dum dum girls just got popular fast by riding the hipster wave. wht a waste

  • A trillion bands already sound like this and do it better.

  • i love you dum dum girls...

  • Were going to see them at the Hi-Dive. Woo!

  • Awesome song! Jáil lalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

  • Hipster Garbage.

  • i seen DeDe on the Nardwaur the human serviette from Vancover british colmbia interview.Dum Dum girls are great! Anyone know of a better looking front women for a band then the Dum Dum girls frount women? if you do let me know cause i dont think ther is one.

  • @chazawits

  • @chazawits Sarah Barthel from PHANTOGRAM. Oh she's so gorgeous.

Check out “Shy,” the new song from Lisa Tucker (American Idol Top 10 Finalist, BET’s The Game, Nickelodeons Zoey 101) through Lisa’sLullaby channel! Be the first to hear it!

  • Regurgitated or not its still good

  • ugh

  • Grand Ole Party Forever!!!

  • They are just regurgitating early 90s twee pop like Heavenly.

  • man in grand ole party...her voice was outstanding and surperb and lyrics were real and mysterious..

this is weak compared to GOP

  • cool band, cool song, but grand ole party is so much better! damn....

  • they are preforming with Vampire Weekend =) can't wait.

  • Great song but I was disappointed when I went to see them live a couple of weeks ago. They were just trying way too hard to be cool. Spoilt all the fun.

  • @psa12 I sort of felt that too when i saw them... i still liked going and enjoyed the music though! which show were you at?

  • i hear lush:). and you?

  • good song!

  • Am I wrong if I think that the lyrics are the only difference with their other song, It Only Takes One Night? They're both wonderful though..

  • strange

  • they are good I look forward to hearing them at the vampire weekend concert near portland that is coming up...also it's rude to use the word faggot so derogatively

  • noice

  • pretentious faggot

  • pretentious faggot

  • @tkoyasu4ever you must have bought a mirror..

  • @deadcity12 I was convinced of this at the homage (tongue-in-cheek perhaps) to "vivre sa vie."

  • I agree with all of you who say this is a good song

  • This tastes just like strawberries.

  • This is lovely :)

  • COOL BAND

  • This is an awesome song which was also featured on an exclusive behind the scenes loo at Kristen Stewart's elle photoshoot.

  • AWESOMENESS <3

  • Great song.

  • sehr geil!!!!:-D

  • ooooh... I can rip off the breeders and a hundred other bands too... this unoriginal crap blows.

  • @Enidtoldmeto Sounds like the Breeders? what the fuck are you talking about? don't post here

  • @Enidtoldmeto I agree fully

  • @Enidtoldmeto That's kinda true but thank God. No, seriously, I heard this and immediately got thrown back in the nineties. They are the same but completely different. There is great music being made right now(well what I like, i.e. Fleet Foxes which throw me back to my parents time), but so much media pushed pop clouds it all up (sadly my girls like it though...I guess my dad felt the same way about NKOB when I liked them). All music repeats itself, it's who does it right that matters.
