@SilentProtector7 Nope. The carpet was well taken care of and the room was always clean, plus I got my full deposit back after I moved. But thanks for your comment. :)
Ur dedication is commendable. I started on day 1 today and its funny how many people overestimate themselves before starting, including me. I realized how out of shape and form i was. Oh well doing this program for 90 days and playing soccer or basketball almost everyday will hopefully get me into pretty good shape.
Why do you think it won't work? Are you following the nutrition guide and doing your workouts as scheduled? Working out is only one component of P90x. The weight loss really starts in the kitchen. Maybe if you provide me with some more information I can help you out.
well im staying consistent on the work outs everyday, eating plenty of vegies and protein, and staying away from the sweets. Like ice cream, chocolate, the things that would keep me from being focused. I get up, make a protein shake. About nine oclock i eat a little snack. then i eat lunch, about three oclock i eat a healthy snack. Go home, do my work out, eat dinner. and if i get hungry i eat a small snack later on in the night. i just havent been seeing results in my body.but I have physically
Did you take pics of yourself before starting P90x and do your measurements? If so, take them again at 30 days and compare them. Are your clothes fittng better? Do you have more energy? I've been hovering around 202/203lbs for the past couple months, but since I started P90x again I haven't lost weight, but notice small changes. My abs are there, but I still have some belly fat covering it up and am only on week 4. Stick with it for the full 90 days and give it a chance.
Also, don't forget that if you have a lot of fat to shed, you may have to do multiple rounds of P90x to reach your goal. There are plenty of people who don't get the ultimate results the first time around because they have a lot of weight to lose. Some other things to take notice of are the # of push-ups and other exercise reps you're able to do now vs when you started. You're supposed to be keeping track of that in a logbook. Have you been doing that? If so, are you getting better?
yeah man, im getting better at all of my work outs. i just got done with yoga. and man i tell you, at first that was the hardest thing i have ever done in my life. But today, it wasnt so bad! and definately not under eating, cause those work outs kill you
im eating plenty of protein and vegies. staying consistent with the workouts, but i just dont have time to make all the meals and stuff. and i dont have time to shop for all the ingredients either. but im staying away from fast food, sweets, and eating late. im trying to stay focused on my goal. i just want it to work man
yeah i took the pics, but im only on the third week. by the other result pics from other people, you really dont start to see results until day 60. but my clothes fit better man. im just afraid if i dont follow the eating plan exactly, then it wont work. but i am eating healthy everyday
P90x gives you the option of using a "portions" eating plan as well. So as long as you get a certain amount of protein, veggies, carbs, etc., and use the recommended foods (not the exact meal plans), you'll be fine. That plan is used for those of us who want to make up our own meal plans based on the amount of servings we're supposed to have per the nutrition guide. I don't stick to the exact meal plans either. Just make sure you're not under-eating either, because P90x demands a lot of energy.
Yeah, I'm not even worried about it that much anymore. As long as I push myself to muscle failure by the end of the workout, I'm good. That's what's really important. I'll do whatever I need to do to get results.
thats all i do is always go to failure, your results will prob surpass your expectations, i'm guessing but i'm think all p90x grads go through different phases
Look at u bringing it big. Yea with the pull ups they'll come along. I think it's cool that every set of pull up, u start doing them without the chair, u at least try.
That's right, awesome job Mr. Khalil, that's another day done.
Yeah, even if I know I'm gonna need the chair, trying to the pull-up without it helps me reach muscle failure faster for that set. That's what I used to do for push-ups when I first started Power 90. Eventually I was able to pump those bad boys out, take a break, then pump them out again.
Way to bring it lil bro!! Was that a booty shake I saw at 3:56? LOL and why didn't you leave the chair in the doorway?? I think you got a workout just moving the chair around LOL!! Awesome work!!
I kept putting it back because I thought the decline push-ups were coming up, lol. They were farther in the video than I thought. :) I think I only showed 2 or 3 rounds. I didn't want to make a 10 minute video + Ab Ripper X, lol. I have footage of that as well...too funny! But it's working! :)
Thanks! Yeah, I just saw you signed up on WOWY!. You got the first part down!! :) You're right, now you gotta actually do it. I know you can. Once you start it'll be like clockwork. I'm about to start Plyo now...see you later and hit me up on here or on WOWY! if you need anything.
Dang Khalil, it's week 3 already. Time is sure flying. And you are absolutely right. Hard work is what it takes. Keep bringing it Larry (snort - just kidding!)
Yup, cant' believe it. And I'm adding one more week on in the first phase for good measure since I was sick when I first started. LOL..."Larry" huh, we got jokes . :)
That room must stink, your carpet will be ruined.
