Aww baby babel talk is so cute... and really interesting. Babies will babel in the language that they are growing up around. They'll use the same vowel and consonant clusters as the language even if they aren't actually making words.

It was in a linguistics textbook I had from first year.

I also noticed this when I was hanging out with my step niece and then my roommate's baby step sister (her parents are Chinese and speak Mandarin as much as possible around her).
