I am so glad that AusNTM is actually really encouraging great bodies. One thing that really bothers me about ANTM is the fact that Tyra is trying to make fat girls okay in the fashion world, and it really isnt. Yes, it seems cruel to tell slender young girls to lose weight. However, it would be a disservice to allow aspiring models to believe that 38+ inch hips can realistically make in high fashion. Most top models have hips in the 33-35-inch range. That's just the truth.
Kamilla is WAY WAY too skinny, if you take some of the hips from Demelza and Caris that the judges want them to lose (which I think is total crap, because I think they are perfect), give it to Kamilla then maybe she could do Victoria's Secret. Seeing her hip bones protrude out that much is disgusting. Alamela cracks me up here, referring to Kamilla as IT: "It kind of has a cute pout when it walks but I don't know what else it could do".

The truth is that white models sell more. Apart from a some very famous odd few models that are coloured, the white model brings in far more money than the others.

At the very least the hosts should be ex models or part of the high fashion couture model industry. Not low end trash that is in the tabloids and every teen boys bedrooms. The aussie judges aren't narrow minded, just realistic. The American version is selling an unrealistic fantasy, especailly given that most of their girls are asked to lose weight by their agents after they leave the show.

Kamilla is WAY WAY too skinny, if you take some of the hips from Demelza and Caris that the judges want them to lose (which I think is total crap, because I think they are perfect), give it to Kamilla then maybe she could do Victoria's Secret. Seeing her hip bones protrude out that much is disgusting. Alamela cracks me up here, referring to Kamilla as IT: "It kind of has a cute pout when it walks but I don't know what else it could do".

They are so thin! Wow, perfect bodies though seriously. All of them are stunning! Alamela is cocky yes, but I'd rather that then seeing another model on these shows come that's un-sure of themselves.
At the end of the day they want to be models so should have a cerain type of arrogance. (Maybe not that much though xD)

Botticelli? Yeah, I think his women were a little bigger than that, they were more like... same digits at the end, like height 175 cm and 75 kg, maybe even a bit more. Beautiful, though! Seriously, I know models need to be more skinny than normal women, but some of them look positively breakable.

I love Australia's Next Top Model.
Yeah, America's next top model is good too, but in AUNTM, they give them a personal trainer, a nutrionist, to make sure they're eating right, and staying FIT. Its not about keeping them thin. And I'm not saying that thin is better, but what your natural body shape is when its in shape, is good, instead of aiming for unnatural ideals.

i cannot believer she said whiter?But the truth is the model industry doesn't have many ethnic models.Yes there are a few Black models and maybe even the odd oriental model,however asian models as in from the indopak region are rare. The simple reason is the model industry seems to think white=beauty. This is fact and the same rubbish that is printed in beauty mag after mag.Just pick up any mag more likely to have a white model on it than any other colour what does that say? Time 4 change!

The truth is that white models sell more. Apart from a some very famous odd few models that are coloured, the white model brings in far more money than the others.
I would be offended if we were talking about movies, authors, etc, but not modeling.

ok ive been doing a bit of research since i dont know these hosts.both female judges are ex glamour models? So where are the standards exactly? At the very least the hosts should be ex models or part of the high fashion couture model industry. Not low end trash that is in the tabloids and every teen boys bedrooms. They don't have the right to judge they're ill qualified, wrong industry.

camilla loves herself but shes a good contender unfortunately.If i was an agent id be asking her what career she wants to follow because she can't be a top model and a lawyer. Erm as for killer bodies they've got nicely toned bodies but the only secret in camillas bikini (and some others) is zero breasts.The model industry seems to be obsessed with pubescent breasts and bodies,something really distateful to me. I don't see nowt beautiful about having no breasts or sexual presence.

its nowhere near australias next top model. the reasons they eliminate the girls..in this one..make sense. to me its not biased..the girls LOOK like models. the photoshoots make sense. antm photoshoots seem like they were smoking crack. the girls work out. i think its alot better. my opinion.

The aussie judges aren't narrow minded, just realistic. The American version is selling an unrealistic fantasy, especailly given that most of their girls are asked to lose weight by their agents after they leave the show.
