Nice try, but this 14 part flight of fancy simply doesn't fit the genetic marker evidence. All human beings originally came from Africa, but in a more primitive state and much earlier - around 125k years ago - moving North and Northeast. Other than negroid features on the colossal heads, there really isn't anything to suggest that this civilization has an African origin. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. These heads are incredibly 'fleshy' - clearly the work of sculptors with a thorough knowledge of anatomy - even allowing for a degree of stylistic distortion. This is a very good presentation - alas,as other viewers have said, the presenters voice is very difficult to listen to - he is obviously reading robotically from a script and stumbling over it. It is so important to have a good speaking voice for this kind of thing. Shame - irritating rather than illuminating.

These ancient Olmecs TOTALLY look like Polynesians to me! In fact, if they weren't Asiatic peoples who crossed the Bering land bridge, then they were Polynesian voyagers who overshot Easter Island. Sorry but the sculptures at 0:54 and 3:54 look more mongoloid or native american to me. The entire face is flattened. Since most of you Afrocentrics base your conclusions on "looks," It's fair to say many of the Olmec carvings depict Native american or asian looking faces. The larger statues may have large eyes but the smaller statues have very narrow eye openings resembling asians.
