  • it probably had a weak signal or was using 1900 Mhz since my iphone on tmobile and other previous phones with internal antenna did the same thing when gripped too tightly

same thing happens with sprint phones since they run on the same frequency

  • So this causing the AT&T service to suck..or suck even more? What about antenna near the oral cavity? No one's worrying about signal penetrating mouths..cancer?

  • what is this i dont even

  • @orrin4 What do you mean? This is a 3GS losing reception in the same way that the iPhone 4's lose reception. This shows that its either a software problem, or its been a problem that has even with the 3GS.

  • @boss99er Well I'm holding my 3gs in the same way. I try and I try, but I still can't get it to lose any bars. No I don't have a case on it. I'm confused on why this one is messing up like that.

  • @orrin4 Well, mine was updated to ios 4.0.....is yours?

  • @boss99er Yup yup, got the ios4 the second it came out. I've been having problems with it myself. Like most of my album art is mixed up. Other than that, my reception is just fine.
