I've seen like 3 different versions of Wicked, and I know this is biased seeing as I'm from England but I definitely think that the English version is best! I've seen it way too many times with loads of different actors/actresses etc and Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman and the best Elphaba and Glinda, it helps that they're friends in reality too ;D

I think she is a much better Glinda than Kristin Chenoweth. I hear it's going to Brisbane after all, which I am excited about. But it was worth travelling to Sydney for :)

@aninjadinosaurful it's recently been announced (within the last couple of months) that Wicked is going to Brisbane at the start of 2011 and to Adelaide around April 2011. Apart from that, nothing else has been announced. They usually announce as they go. They only announced the closing date in Sydney around the same time that they told us they'd be going to Brisbane & Adelaide.

I got the Original Decca Broadway Cast Album after seeing the show in Sydney, and was, frankly, a little disappointed. The Australian cast were outstanding, I loved it.

Two things:

1 - Australian cast = fucking brilliant. I almost wet myself seeing this live in Melbourne.

2- I love it how they have shot these promo clips with things missing. Hahaha. Like Glinda going "I've always wanted to go to the emerald city" and the two of them walking up the middle in One Short Day, and the other is the Wizard Head isn't behind them when it starts to open at the end of the song. XD
