Great clip, great story, however....Al Michaels never liked Howard Cosell. Just couldn't resist getting a dig in. He was/is a great announcer, has seen/called many sports moments. But he was never as versatile as Howard Cosell. Nobody ever watche a broadcast because Al Michaels was doing. Howard, yeah, people tuned in BECAUSE of him as well as the event. Olympics. Heavyweight boxing matches. Football. Baseball. He made Monday Night Football. Al Michaels? The "Miracle on Ice" call.
