I'm only a little disappointed that Jack Lupino is isolated. I mean he is the main antagonist and he deserves more fight scenes, he has to die more difficult and dramatic. That could reinforce the action in the movie.
actually, nicole horne was the main antagonist, and the other trader undercover cop ended up being the main antagonist, while in the game he was just another boss.

I really don't understand the hate for this movie, I was a huge fan of the Max Payne games and I must have played them more than anyone else. I purchased Max Payne for the PC the moment it came out! So I have a lot of beloved memories of this great franchise. The unrated version of Max Payne on blu-ray is awsome! The film has beautiful cinematography, awesome special effects and all the action scenes in the film were quite good.
Max Payne was a great movie. People were let down because they expected non-stop action, but Max Payne is a noir story and the movie did a great job conveying that.
I wasn't expecting much when I saw it, but it really surprised me. The femme fatale, the betrayal story arc and the really damaged hero made the story believeable and sad. You really feel for Max.

The people who loved the game and still play it to this day dont like the film but those who havent seen the film enjoyed it. I thought hitman was good and ive only played Blood Money! Just see past the game and you will enjoy them! Also did anybody notice that Olga Kurlyenko was in Hitman and Max Payne which are both game adaptations?

the movie was kool. i own both games. they did keep the story of as close as possible sorda. plus it was too predictable. and no mafia thats what sucked. at least it was about the drug.

I thought the film was good, Had cool action scenes and Mark Wahlberg did a good job, only problem was a mediocre plot and a slow pace. I thought the film could of used more gun fights or atleast longer gunfights. Also, for you cry-baby fanboys who are bitching because you didn't like the movie that is based on a game that is so precious to you, plz get a life, it is just a movie based on a game. Get over it.

I really don't understand the hate for this movie, I was a huge fan of the Max Payne games and I must have played them more than anyone else. I purchased Max Payne for the PC the moment it came out! So I have a lot of beloved memories of this great franchise. The unrated version of Max Payne on blu-ray is awsome! The film has beautiful cinematography, awesome special effects and all the action scenes in the film were quite good.

Max Payne was a great movie. People were let down because they expected non-stop action, but Max Payne is a noir story and the movie did a great job conveying that.
I wasn't expecting much when I saw it, but it really surprised me. The femme fatale, the betrayal story arc and the really damaged hero made the story believeable and sad. You really feel for Max.

this movie actually sucked cuz it didn't have the basics: Max Payne a double berreta; Mona a Desert Eagle; And there weren't a whole lot of slow motion effects(there were like 5 of them through the whole movie);

The people who loved the game and still play it to this day dont like the film but those who havent seen the film enjoyed it. I thought hitman was good and ive only played Blood Money! Just see past the game and you will enjoy them! Also did anybody notice that Olga Kurlyenko was in Hitman and Max Payne which are both game adaptations?
