True, this vid comes out a little dry - maybe I'll add a blooper reel on the end to show the out-takes... Try the method and get back to me, I'm sure you'll have a good time. Alternatively try a few months in the world of communicative TEFL (some translate this as 'anodyne corporate slavery') with its 'leaps and bounds' and see how you feel - I've seen the husks of former enthusiasts (teachers & students). They're not leaping and not bounding - and they certainly can't afford a gun.
That's the beauty of this method - the build-up of humour the rapid questions generates - the laughter and camaraderie the Callan method creates is not shown on this video, but with Callan you learn quickly and make a lot of friends, no matter where you are. In comparison to other methods the Callan Method is by far the least boring way to learn, no matter what you think of this video.
@Callanteacher Not at all convinced, I'm afraid. TEFL/TESOL has moved on in leaps and bounds in the last few years..... Callun method does not put the Student at the centre of learning at all. A few months of teaching this method and I'd be putting a gun to my head, with quite a few students waiting behind me !
