I guess the record companies were too busy plugging Johnny Hates Jazz and Rick Astley when this came out! This easily should have gone US Top 10...and I think he was on Warner when this came out too???jeez...awesome song thank U for saving it and posting ;D

This is a GREAT song. I was honored to work this song at radio at Reprise when the cd came out. We had a young label, and this was one of our best early songs. One time he left a message on our "hotline" that we'd have to call every night for updates. (before email)

I think "North of a Miracle" is a MUCH superior album. "I Love You Avenue" is good, but has that heavy production sound of the late 80s.
