another good way to count triplets are 1-o-let 2-o-let 3-o-let 4-o-let... seems to flow better when counting out loud

Technically, those weren't triplets. Those were 12 8th notes that were grouped in sets of 3. Gotta put those annoying little 3s in there for them to be triplets.
