This is good, vital work - Crowther's poetry is the most impressive I've heard from England recently. Strong words - City of Turns is incredibly powerful - and classic, and yet she has fully (and thankfully) escaped the restraints of English 'classic' poetry and runs euphoric and wise with the freedom... refreshing. I adored The Clockwork Gift - hoping to catch a reading when next in the UK.
