the pick throw.. my favorite way to do it is to actually just let go on a downward sweep or pluck mid-playing. it makes it look like you A) messed up and have to improvise or B) you had the whole thing planned out but it still looks fast as hell
well, it may sound like cliff, but I made up that one string riff myself. I elaborate on it in the other solo vid I have up. Thanks for the compliments!
