1 GB of memory isnt that good to run after effects but, who cares. yeah you need the Trapcode shine plug-in you can download the demo, just search trapcode shine free trial on google, it cost money to buy it

I have to agree with dandev91. The streaks definitely give it the 1-up on most, if not all, the other kamehameha videos on youtube. It's a perfect real-life replication of the effect that EVERY anime has used in some point during it's lifespan.

How do plugins work?

You can download or install plugins by extracting them, I believe to the plugin folder in After Effects. Plugins are like additional tools for After Effects. A popular one is the Trapcode plugins, and like I said, the Sapphire ones too. Google them and check them out.
