I spent the new year's eve in Inverness, with fireworks and bagpipe. From there, I drove to isle of Skye , it's gorgeous indeed! Hope to visit there again this life. Talisker
I'm from S.C. in the U.S. Haven't been to Skye since 1988 before they built the big bridge. Has the bridge affected Skye any? It was the best trip I ever had. I htiched from London to Tongue and met many great people.
im american and my girlfriend is scottish. we took a roadtrip from kilmarnock to glasgow to inverness, met up with some friends and hit the road to skye for a weekend. it was absolutely unbelievable. i forgot all sense of being american driving next to the cuillins and climbing the old man of storr. i felt like i was getting in touch with my roots far beyond just scottish; ancient, archaic, gaelic, even pictish. i felt beautiful, amazing on skye. its perfect there.
lovely. Shame when I was there, it was so misty, and the camera ate most of our photos, including one of our car having to stop for a solitary sheep in the road.
Can you or anyone else tell me where the music here is from?
Great photography, but how could you go wrong in such a great place! Anybody planning to go there, take your insect repellant, the midgies are mighty (aka the Highland Brigade). They accept any blood type with glee.
Well, I just booked myself a ticket to go here for a two week hiking/camping adventure in July. Hope the weather holds up nicely. Can't wait to scour the land!
Lovely irony! I have always wanted to see the mountains from whence hailed many of my father's ancestors, and the music for this video was composed for a film set in my own beloved mountains of the Southern Applachia. I cannot wait until I can say I've tread the rock of both.
There is truly no more beautiful place on the planet than Skye - every moment is unique, with each single view changing in a heartbeat at the sun and the mist and rain and the wind and the light shift. Thanks for this compilation of images.

This made me miss the Isle of Skye.
My father named me after it, and this summer, I had the chance to visit.
I felt more at home there than any place I've ever been.
Amazing, amazing place.
=]
Oh, and the photography in this is quite good xD

Eimear Castle =] at one point at the beginning...nice castle.
=[ I saw a lamb drown in Skye near the fossil cliffs.
Ah you had a picture of Portree.
It's a lovely island... I would've loved it more if my school had chosen better accommodation.
