If people can sit down and use their objective wisdom, without the influence of the herd mentality, to compare the top ten rock and roll singers worldwide in the 20th century in terms of the voice quality, the singing technique, and the performance elegance, Elvis stood out in a class of his own. He was beyond compare.

He had these made for him to act as "sunglasses" while he was on stage or in photes where the wearing of sunglasses was inappropriate. Like many people with blue eyes; Elvis' eyes were sensitive to light. In his case very sensitive. This is why there are so many photos of him wearing sunglasses.

Col found out about it went into a rage because elvis recorded it without his approval . Couldnt fire elvis so he fired the songwriters. My favourite ALL TIME ELvis song.
In the Uk a guy called Albert Hands did a monthly Elvis prog in the late-59s early 60s.
He organised a kind of play this track by Elvis all around the world at a certain time.
each month we would all agree - UK - Holland-Japan-India-USA etc to play the same track at the same time that month - sounds a long time ago...
But with Elvis it's a heartbeat away.

I believe the flip side was, "Anyway You Want Me".
He had more 2 sided hits than any artist i can think of. This ballad, "Don't" is simply beautiful.

i could never forget the kings birthday!! my friends and i made him a wonderful birthday cake saying "Happy 75th Birthday Elvis!" And with musical notes all around. It was beautiful I just wished I was in Graceland to celebrate.

Elvis is probably the most handsome man who ever lived! Who today looks as georgous as this, and sings like that? There a many handsome men, but Elvis? He broke the mold.
