  • ah ok, sweet, i think im going to go make a video of my exhaust note now...lol

no one ever likes my car, but they all love the exhaust :P

  • sound nice man..

  • Haha nice I had an '82 Leone Wagon and that thing was a fuckin beast. I had a bad ass stainless steel welded bumper in the back, it was a four speed, hell yeah.

  • the crackling on rev-down is normal, my two ea81 powered GLF coupes do it, sounds awesome with 2" strait through exhaust with a toyota soarer stainless "hotdog" looking resonator at the rear

  • @Colt45hatchback Its not the crackling on rev-down, its a raspy sound while revving up and down but only high up in the RPM. I found out that is is completely normal and is due to the design of the heads, port shape and valves. They normally don't make the sound so much because the exhaust is more restrictive and that deadeneds it. I ended up going back to factory exhaust because I was fed up with long drives and a noisy car. But now the car is sold and I own a 99 Outback.

  • Old school. Tisk, tisk. Kids these days don't understand how easy they got it making power. We had to fight for it.

  • I don't hear any strange noises. You're getting overrun but that's normal.
