You don't use olive oil to cook. When it heats up it looses all of good it's properties. Use it on salad or something.

It also becomes toxic after a certain temp, I know the value of using olive oil fresh, but the 360 would have never got hot enough to cook the egg anyway ;)

to be honest if the xbox got hot enough it could cook the egg. eggs begin to solidify at about 160 degrees fahrenheit. and the xbox 360 case is made of neophrene which has a melting point of 250 degrees fahrenheit...so i guess you could cook an egg on top of it? i was sure this was fake. and being the no lifer that i am i looked it up xD

It is all about getting the system hot enough to reflow the solder, you then need to cool it down quickly to get it to stay in its position. It can be a hit and miss, but it has worked twice for me. As for swapping the consoles, I knew I should have showed the serial number xD

Haha that is a little funny that it worked. I suspect that it would shorten the potential life of the other components inside though since you are exposing them to some serious heat.
