  • Draw length little short... but good.

  • Thank you! :) yes, I know I should draw longer but its hard to get used to a new way of draw :) (I used to shoot with turkish bow and style) I made the video to check the draw as I couldnt see it well, was one of my first days of shooting with that bow ;)

  • your form is actually quite nice, and i hear that the bow's draw is a little short; is that why your draw was shorter than ideal?

and would you recommend this bow to someone relatively new to shooting with asiatic bows? (compared to the more common Hungarian or Magyar bow).

  • thank you, nowadays my form is much better after somedays in Korea. The draw length of that bow is probably the longest for a bow of that size. You can draw till you feel it stucks, 33" probably. But you have to get used to that length of draw if you used to shoot 28" - 29"

Yes, I would recommend it, but of a weight easy to draw, so you can work better on the form without difficulties. Traditionally this bow is shot with thumbring, the hungarians are shot with 3 fingers.

  • Oh that's just great, because my draw with the mongolian release is 32"! I hate to sound overly inquisitve but, how long would the bow be for a draw length of 33"? (Just asking so I have a good idea of what size to order from Duverney)..

    Thanks for the info!

  • The length of the bow is the same, its standard size as far as I know, cant tell you now the length of it, I dont know it and dont have my bows right here to check them.
