  • well i got to admit this is good but the original mdq was better i wish i could been there not in this time but in the time of the real thing im only 15 years but johnny cash is my greatest inspiration i always try my best to impersonate johnny cash but i'll never sound exactly like him

  • they good, but i just aint into Impersonators

  • INSULT TO THE ORIGINAL QUARTET! How much of the money goes to Jerry Lee or the Families of the others? Whatever-this is not much like them except for Johnny and Jerry-and that's stretching it!

  • @kenstasia I think they do a pretty good job. Besides it's nice to see them getting recognition as most people around my age don't apprieicate this music.

  • LEGEN...wait for it... DARY

  • Four minutes that the Letterman show is actually worth watching.

  • Long tall sally by little richard

  • what song is elivs singigng?

  • That guy looks nothing like the Killer.

  • SO AWESOME

  • weak choice for casting elvis right?

  • @puroproductions114 Are you kidding me? Eddie Clendening is amazing as Elvis and his solo stuff is just as good, he does this kind of music on his own too. But whatever I honestly think hes amazing

  • @someone481 Meh, low energy, no presence. If your trying to be young Elvis you need to bring it.

  • @puroproductions114 I agree with you that maybe this performance could be better but in the show when I saw it he was great. In the show Elvis is just hanging out with his buddies and not performing for anyone really so I dont think the energy needs to be extremely high. Everyone has seen the high energy Elvis with a huge stage presence, Eddie gave us a taste of what Elvis was like offstage.

  • @someone481 Whoa, ok wait, I just watched your review. Did Cody Slaughter take over the Elvis role??? Now that dude is perfect! His voice needs a little work but as far as presence and physicality he is amazing. Did they re cast all 4 roles?

  • @puroproductions114 Codys playing Elvis but in the National Tour. Eddie is still playing Elvis on Off-Broadway. And I do agree Cody is a better Elvis, but Eddie has a lot going for him as a solo artist. But yeah if the tour comes your way definitely check it out, Cody will not disappoint you

  • I saw the show last Sunday===============congratulations from Brazil!

  • If we werent told who they were and I didnt know the songs I couldnt tell you who they were suposed to be

  • Im really sorry to have to say this. But I dont see how this ever got anywhere. I guess it showd how lax people of gotten with theyre hear for music and voices. Thes guys didnt sound or play like the org

  • How awesome. Very entertaining! I especially loved it when that guy played the piano backward! Nerds are the best!

  • Robert Lyons as Carl Perkins is playing a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop with a trapeze tailpiece. That is the guitar Perkins used to record the original version of "Blue Suede Shoes" on Sun Records in 1955. He also played the Goldtop in the 1957 movie Jamboree.

  • What is the name of the song that Johnny Cash sings in this?

  • @MGVaughan1986 folsom prison blues

  • @ChaseRocker Cheers dude.

  • @MGVaughan1986 Folsom Prison Blues! We have interviewed Levi Kreis--(Jerry Lee) and Lance Guest--(Johnny Cash) on our radio show! Wasn't this the BEST show? Cheers!

  • awesome - they're all wicked musicians! london show seems to be winning though...london elvis and jerry lee rocked soo good, and they all looked more like em. either way BEST gig ever.

  • I watched this performance on Letterman, but somehow I missed that Johnny Cash was being portrayed by Lance Guest, a.k.a. "The Last Starfighter." I had such a crush on him after that movie, and hearing him sing like that brings it right back. :-) I just wish that I could have seen the musical.

  • awesome

  • I saw this show here in Seattle. I saw it three years ago. It's amazing!!!!

  • That dollar is to deaden his strings and get that iconic sound for Johnny's song.

  • did anyone notice that the guy who plays elvis has a dollar on his guitar?

  • @narutoslittlesister1

Just for the Johnny Cash song, thats a technique they used on some of the early Sun records to simulate drums. Also was a time when the Grand Ole Opry didn't allow drums, that was a way to at least get a rhythm sound.

  • @Teenidol83 oh ok

  • :O-HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
