@alecboi84 wish i wouldve man. but ive lived through it all through these legends music. ive found many people that age think wayne is trash, but honestly hes not the best ever not top 5. but that man is a legend regardless of if people think he has bullshit out now. he has put out lyrical music that is inevidable to the fact that he has street tracks and doesnt need appearances on his albums, he just puts his dudes on
@nonebetterthanwayne I think wayne is garbage,he's not a lyricist or a poet..sorry dude but I'm with the people my age because we know what real hiphop is..not what marketing & commercialism transformed it into..it's not hiphop these days..i don't even know what to call it..90's era was revolutionary music,to get your game up,knowledge..now a days it's bling,money,crystal,etc..nothing to uplift the people but rather dumbing them down and wayne, drake, gaga, kanye, minaj they're the front runners..
On September 14th we gotta all watch "Nas Is Like" in honor of Nasir Olu Dara Jones' Birthday, We gotta give him the respect he needs and give him the highest viewed video on YouTube!! Let's give him what he deserves and what these fake ass motherfuckas (any rapper on the radio) don't deserve to have
Copy and paste to all Nas' videos and all music videos let's get this shit noticed.
@714ROMO Kanye sucks now bro, he was okay in the beginning but he sold out and he just sounds fake like everyone else now. We ain't haters we just like original, true music
Pac elevates this song to be just that much greater than it was without him on it, how can you say fuck 2pac? that's like sayin fuck Nas too, cuz they squashed they beef on Untouchable Pac say "no offence to Nas but..." and on Ether Nas says whos the best Pac Nas and BIG..ignorance smh.
nah its like this nas is the greatest lyrically, tupac is the greatest rapper..makin music, droppin dope ass flows on any beat, being able to touch on any subject, perspective in life, communicatiin his struggle, hes just a fuckin one of a kind..nas is the fuckin illest too dont get it twisted but rlly its a shame when i see kids tryna say ones better than the other..some of the hsit tupac says is just like damn..and then nas too, so raw wit his flow also. both r legends, r.i.p the g.o.a.t pac
@ModellStJames111 You just happen to be a chump fuckin' prick. You are the worst and that's what you deserve; I hope your child ends up buying all sorts of rap cds, then proceeds to stick them right up your asshole. Maybe that would finally loosen up your uptight ass, fucking clown.
@modell..First of all if you are trying to be clever by calling hip-hop music c-rap a.k.a. crap your literary creativity is severely limited, and you could take a note on Nas or a great deal of other artists in that respect...Secondly you have rocks in your head the size of Gibraltar if you name your son Tarquin after the Italian city Tarquinia which got was dominated by the Roman Empire and fear that music will influence him detrimentally. I believe you already set him off on the wrong foot.
@spriderrider312 I only stumbled on this because I caught my son on it; he is banned from listening to c-rap as it is tuneless drek with a bunch of black idiots talking their way through a backing track. Tarquin knows he c an listen to this shit when he is 21 and has moved out with his trust fund: until then no bloody way; blacks are way too much of a bad influence. I think he understands that now after I explained what drug taking criminals they all are.
If the blacks spent more time looking for a job and not listening to gangster c-rap, us whites might take them a bit more seriously and maybe if they towed the line, as in get married, hold down a job, don't take drugs, pay your taxes, then we might just one day put them in the same bracket as a human being. Troubl is, they breed like rats, all addicted to crack and causing crime. That is why nearly every black male goes through the prison system at some stage or another. Animals..
@ModellStJames111 you are the reason white people like myself get viewed as racists and white people like you are the reason everyone hates us. people are people regardless of skin tone, rappers may have developed their own type of language or "slang" they use on tracks but an intelligent person can look past it and see the real message within the song. your comments are unacceptable and very hostile so for you to call blacks animals yet verbally rip them apart makes you a huge hipocrit.
@coryzane1 it didn't COME OUT b4 all eyez, regardless of when it was recorded. all eyez was prob recorded in 95 as well if it came out in Feb of 96...
@lightmajor1 man how you gonna say regardless of when it was recorded?thats my whole point the beat is nas,Im not talking about who rec hit airplay first.google ''East Coast – West Coast hip hop rivalry'' and read all of it.pac using the sample of this beat is apart of their conflict because it piss nas off (pac still killed it)

ok i think this could settle the subject ok pac was better in some aspect like he makes way better diss tracks thats the truth like hit em up and bomb first kill ether no joke lyrically nas is better pac didnt focus on how to play with the words but in some songs he proves that he is a true lyricist like in letter to my unborn child but nas is a true lyricist in all his songs and pac was deeper and there flows are just about matched i know there different but there on the same level
pac was not better, honestly how are you gona say that. pacs me against the world is not better NO WAY BETTER than illmatic or it was written then after that its just out of proportion
1. illmatic
2. it was written
3. me against the world
4. stillmatic
5. gods son
6. all eyez on me
...thats just the top six and i hate pacs bullshit word continuation instead of saying baby he has to say BAAAAAAAAAAABy cant even finsih a bar with out slurring his words
Pac kept saying the same shit over and over in all his songs..Always talking bout hennessey, shedding tears, shots on the block, I like pac he one of the best but listend closely to his tracks alot of them say the same thing just re worded.Like come on, now Nas is the lyrical genius.
Nas never fell off, and Pac only became a legend because he died, till this day Nas is the lyrical genius. I dont hate Pac, but I just dont think he would beat Nas.
@smacccityent If you listen to pac and nas and compare pac is lyricly better i have nas,s and pac,s discography and pac is far Superior but nas is a good rapper too but tupac is just better lyricly trust me just listen
Don't take it personal kid. You're just a fan boy I'm just stating the truth. Illmatic was amazing but after that everything was average he even admits to going commercialized after so don't be raged and what kinda name is yashi you stupid e-thug talking about peoples momz on the internet you're soft as fck
Thug Rap was Commercialization, his albums immediately after illmatic had alot of thug/mafia/sicilian thing going on. Furthermore, the thuggish songs nas made(especially with AZ) are among some of the greatest hip hop songs ever.
EVEN illmatic had thug songs on it (NY State of mind), which can be viewed as a very commercial thuggish song(and i do understand that this is an amazing song, commercial or not).
Ny state of mind isnt a "thug song". Ny state of mind represents why he thinks he wont live to see tomorrow. The whole mafiaso stuff he did after was infuenced by raekwon (only built 4 cuban lynx) he wasnt being original anymore. Im not saying he wasnt good after but nothing compares to illmatic. Simple as that i dont understand why u keep replying to me.
oh and nastradamus and I am had alot of good songs on them.
Top five Nas Albums
1. Illmatic (nocontest)
2. God son
3. Stillmatic
4. I AM
5. Hip Hop is dead.
It is a very easy and common thing to say "oh nas fell off after illmatic" , appreciate dude for the versatility he has offered throughout his career, even if he followed some commercial practices he may have had.
maybe i should have "it was written was a very good album" , i was just trying to make the point that nas had good albums after illmatic. ALL the cds have gems on them, thats why we listen to nas. Thats why hes popular almost 15 years after the release of illmatic, because he makes some good music(and some really bad music too "oocie wallie" for example)
oh and padalino 24, i dont care if you think im soft as fck , indians dont run around trying to act hard, were not black, we have economic opportunity in america and genrally are wealthy. Acting hard is really only important to people who come from poorer areas because its the only way that they have to express their masculinity. I was talking about your mom cause your a stupid a-hole talking about nas that way.
Are you trying to assume i act black? Im italian i know where i came from i enjoy listening to nas but dont say i act black. And i love nas i said his other albums arent as good as illmatic u just got angry and took this out of proportion. Look brah dont talk about peoples momz on the internet cuz we all know your punjabi ass would run in real life.
hey if u like albums like "nastradamus" and "i am" then thats fine but dont say hes was still performing at his top potential cuz we all know those albums sucked. When i say nas fell off i still acknowledge he has some decent albums like stillmatic and it was written but no where near his full potential that he showed in illmatic i dont even know why u keep replying to me kid
i always say that and all nas true fans fell to even realize that he went commercial paul u know about rap i like that u said that mafioso shit was influenced by raekwon, but anyway everything u say i agree with, like how u gonna say nas keeps it real when he puts out two wack ass commercialized albums in i am and nastradamus, how it is possible to have the crown with those wack ass albums on ur resume? but even stillmatic was wack all he had on that was rewind ether and one mic was ok comeon
@lowery27 fine nastradamus wasnt that good, but in reality it was supposed to be a mixtape so thats a good recent to say he didnt give to much of a fuck he just was informed it was gona be successful but on the real, how the fuck are you gona say I Am is whack? NY State of Mind pt. 2 is fucking unreal one of his best songs ever, hes also got small world, undying love, life is what you make it and nas is like...thats a pretty dope album, stillmatic is unreal man ranked in the top 50 albums so...
ca c du bon son great song great great great et ouai meme en france on ecoute ca on ecoute aussi du little brother large Professor compil grand theft audio et tous ca c du bon
Come on d.c. united you cant name any bad 2pac album because you are a fan. i can name a couple of bad 2pac albums. his 1st two albums were average at best and everything released after his death besides a couple of songs was wack. and people talk about nas stole 2pac beat. 2pac stole nas whole idea when he made me and girlfriend.dont get me wrong pac top 5 all time but so is nas.
I thought this was i gave you power. and that came out before pac made me and my girlfriend and fo yo info it was written was released july 2 1996. and street dreams is still a better song than all eyez on me. now get mad if you want to bitch
Street Dreams - better than All Eyez on Me. Nas - the superior rapper. Nas wishes he had Pac's discography though. You can't name 1 bad Pac album, and he'd make them in a couple weeks. You can name plenty of bad Nas albums. From a lyrical perspective Pac can't touch anything on Illmatic though... but that's it... Illmatic... cuz Pac crushes everything else Nas ever did.
not really...nas's only really bad album was nastradamus...and most of tupacs posthumous stuff was bad and poorly put together, although you cant blame pac for that...but yea illmatic is much better than anything pac put out
Yeah. i think all of nas's albums are good except nastradamus, and street's disciple. but yeah. personally i'd say pac and nas are tied. (in terms of how good) all i wanna know is, why did nas use pac's beat for this song?
wasnt all eyes on me after this? idk i could be wrong and idk i think Nas is better he brings the lyrical intesity with a deeper slang and vocabulary but if your a touch me guy tupac is deeper and touches peeps more
@AyoMULLA456 Nah all eyez on me was before this. Feb 96. This was dropped in July of 96, both of the tracks ore ill. If anyone would take a Pac track im glad it was nas
@deebooma Technically Nas Didnt Take This Track, He Didn't Know Tupac Had Used The Same Sample, It's Kinda LIke Biggie's, "Give Me One More Chance", & Big L's "M.V.P".....Shit Happens LOL
@AyoMULLA456 nas was more affective in the area that he was repping, as tupac was to his but tupac got more publicity so thats why I FEEL that tupacs lyrics touched more people, but i could be wrong
@jayhova3132005 HIP HOP NEEDS A CHANGE.... JOIN THE MOVEMENT... CHANGE MUZIK is the most powerful music touching the streets... STREET CERTTIFIED OFFICIAL.. LOG ON... YOUTUBE/MILITANTMINDEDENT (LOG ON...HIT US UP)
Hit You Tube and SEARCH PRYME MINISTER (LOG ON NOW FOR THAT REAL TRUTH...POWERFUL MUZIK) STOP SUPPORTING MIND POISON....get with the movement CHANGEMUZIK!
Thats not a remix thats the original version from the album and it came out before all eyes on me and its a better song than all eyes on me.. yes people it is possible that pac can copy off other rappers too. and he must of liked this album too cause he wrote me and my girlfriend after nas wrote i gave you power
wtf u on about. get ur facts right before u post em up. nas released this october 96 an tupac released his version in february 96 an also tupac is given sample credit for street dreams.
Hmm, you tell someone to get their facts right, and then you throw out some bullshit like tupac got sample credit? You do realize that this entire track is a sample, right? It's from the beginning of "Never Gonna Stop" by Linda Clifford. Look it up.
you dum fuk go and read the info on the ' it was written' album and street dreams gives tupac n the original sample credit for using it. so shut the fuk up.
always thaught this was on nastradamas

pac was not better, honestly how are you gona say that. pacs me against the world is not better NO WAY BETTER than illmatic or it was written then after that its just out of proportion
1. illmatic
2. it was written
3. me against the world
4. stillmatic
5. gods son
6. all eyez on me
...thats just the top six and i hate pacs bullshit word continuation instead of saying baby he has to say BAAAAAAAAAAABy cant even finsih a bar with out slurring his words
AyoMULLA456 2 years ago
Pac kept saying the same shit over and over in all his songs..Always talking bout hennessey, shedding tears, shots on the block, I like pac he one of the best but listend closely to his tracks alot of them say the same thing just re worded.Like come on, now Nas is the lyrical genius.
liquidusman 2 years ago 3
true but nas fell off after illmatic. Pac got better as he went on and finished with his best album being the don killuminati cd
paul24padalino 2 years ago
Nas never fell off, and Pac only became a legend because he died, till this day Nas is the lyrical genius. I dont hate Pac, but I just dont think he would beat Nas.
liquidusman 2 years ago 11
im pretty sure with albums such as "nastradamous" and "i am" he fell off. Illmatic is the best 40 minutes in hip-hip but after that he has nothing

@liquidusman Every famous person becomes a legend after they die. How is that a knock on Pac?
WestUpOutlaw 6 months ago
@liquidusman pac would beat nas any day he is just lyricly and physicaly more powerful just listen to "against all odds"

@smacccityent If you listen to pac and nas and compare pac is lyricly better i have nas,s and pac,s discography and pac is far Superior but nas is a good rapper too but tupac is just better lyricly trust me just listen
bizzz461 6 months ago
@smacccityent Tupac is the ultimate rapper and always will be
bizzz461 6 months ago
@bizzz461 Tupac's a legend and all but Nas hits closer to home for a lot of people. Never let the fame get to him

your stupid, nas did not fall off, your mom fell off when she had you
yashi9112 2 years ago 3
Don't take it personal kid. You're just a fan boy I'm just stating the truth. Illmatic was amazing but after that everything was average he even admits to going commercialized after so don't be raged and what kinda name is yashi you stupid e-thug talking about peoples momz on the internet you're soft as fck
paul24padalino 2 years ago
okay, nas commercialized after illmatic.
BTW yashi is an Indian name i am indian.
yashi9112 2 years ago
Ny state of mind isnt a "thug song". Ny state of mind represents why he thinks he wont live to see tomorrow. The whole mafiaso stuff he did after was infuenced by raekwon (only built 4 cuban lynx) he wasnt being original anymore. Im not saying he wasnt good after but nothing compares to illmatic. Simple as that i dont understand why u keep replying to me.
paul24padalino 2 years ago
oh and nastradamus and I am had alot of good songs on them.
Top five Nas Albums
1. Illmatic (nocontest)
2. God son
3. Stillmatic
4. I AM
5. Hip Hop is dead.
It is a very easy and common thing to say "oh nas fell off after illmatic" , appreciate dude for the versatility he has offered throughout his career, even if he followed some commercial practices he may have had.
yashi9112 2 years ago 2
how do you not have it was written in that list homie?
421theaftermath 2 years ago 2
maybe i should have "it was written was a very good album" , i was just trying to make the point that nas had good albums after illmatic. ALL the cds have gems on them, thats why we listen to nas. Thats why hes popular almost 15 years after the release of illmatic, because he makes some good music(and some really bad music too "oocie wallie" for example)
yashi9112 2 years ago
oh and padalino 24, i dont care if you think im soft as fck , indians dont run around trying to act hard, were not black, we have economic opportunity in america and genrally are wealthy. Acting hard is really only important to people who come from poorer areas because its the only way that they have to express their masculinity. I was talking about your mom cause your a stupid a-hole talking about nas that way.
yashi9112 2 years ago
Are you trying to assume i act black? Im italian i know where i came from i enjoy listening to nas but dont say i act black. And i love nas i said his other albums arent as good as illmatic u just got angry and took this out of proportion. Look brah dont talk about peoples momz on the internet cuz we all know your punjabi ass would run in real life.

real fucking talk
lukeslonergan 2 years ago
hey if u like albums like "nastradamus" and "i am" then thats fine but dont say hes was still performing at his top potential cuz we all know those albums sucked. When i say nas fell off i still acknowledge he has some decent albums like stillmatic and it was written but no where near his full potential that he showed in illmatic i dont even know why u keep replying to me kid
paul24padalino 2 years ago
son were is it was written? lol hip hop is dead before it was written im hoping u just havnt heard it was written otherwise thats an outrage
lukeslonergan 2 years ago
i always say that and all nas true fans fell to even realize that he went commercial paul u know about rap i like that u said that mafioso shit was influenced by raekwon, but anyway everything u say i agree with, like how u gonna say nas keeps it real when he puts out two wack ass commercialized albums in i am and nastradamus, how it is possible to have the crown with those wack ass albums on ur resume? but even stillmatic was wack all he had on that was rewind ether and one mic was ok comeon
lowery27 2 years ago
@lowery27 fine nastradamus wasnt that good, but in reality it was supposed to be a mixtape so thats a good recent to say he didnt give to much of a fuck he just was informed it was gona be successful but on the real, how the fuck are you gona say I Am is whack? NY State of Mind pt. 2 is fucking unreal one of his best songs ever, hes also got small world, undying love, life is what you make it and nas is like...thats a pretty dope album, stillmatic is unreal man ranked in the top 50 albums so...
AyoMULLA456 1 year ago

Come on d.c. united you cant name any bad 2pac album because you are a fan. i can name a couple of bad 2pac albums. his 1st two albums were average at best and everything released after his death besides a couple of songs was wack. and people talk about nas stole 2pac beat. 2pac stole nas whole idea when he made me and girlfriend.dont get me wrong pac top 5 all time but so is nas.

DCUnited4 3 years ago
not really...nas's only really bad album was nastradamus...and most of tupacs posthumous stuff was bad and poorly put together, although you cant blame pac for that...but yea illmatic is much better than anything pac put out
thebluegays 3 years ago
Yeah. i think all of nas's albums are good except nastradamus, and street's disciple. but yeah. personally i'd say pac and nas are tied. (in terms of how good) all i wanna know is, why did nas use pac's beat for this song?
zunez0rz 2 years ago
its not its just the same sample, like jada's by your side (alchemist )and game's wouldnt get far (kanye)
and nas is better than pac but pac got that swag and the nice songs like brendas got a baby and dear mama, nah mean?
BlacckChrome 2 years ago
i see what you mean man.

deebooma 1 year ago 13
@deebooma Technically Nas Didnt Take This Track, He Didn't Know Tupac Had Used The Same Sample, It's Kinda LIke Biggie's, "Give Me One More Chance", & Big L's "M.V.P".....Shit Happens LOL

@AyoMULLA456 nas was more affective in the area that he was repping, as tupac was to his but tupac got more publicity so thats why I FEEL that tupacs lyrics touched more people, but i could be wrong

Thats not a remix thats the original version from the album and it came out before all eyes on me and its a better song than all eyes on me.. yes people it is possible that pac can copy off other rappers too. and he must of liked this album too cause he wrote me and my girlfriend after nas wrote i gave you power
jayhova3132005 3 years ago
wtf u on about. get ur facts right before u post em up. nas released this october 96 an tupac released his version in february 96 an also tupac is given sample credit for street dreams.
wizard1995 3 years ago
Hmm, you tell someone to get their facts right, and then you throw out some bullshit like tupac got sample credit? You do realize that this entire track is a sample, right? It's from the beginning of "Never Gonna Stop" by Linda Clifford. Look it up.
k0ssMrld 3 years ago
you dum fuk go and read the info on the ' it was written' album and street dreams gives tupac n the original sample credit for using it. so shut the fuk up.
wizard1995 3 years ago
@k0ssMrld whoa man i never knew that, i though nas had beat jacked pac or pac had beat jacked nas.
