this isnt even half as bad as the one in maine haha i HATED cleaning starbury it was always the worst haha it was hilarious though when you found a pair of old shoes in a box cause someone stole a pair of $8.98 shoes
Ohhh my god. I feel your pain. I work in a much smaller store in SC, and even when we get a big rush, it doesn't even come close to this! The t-shirt wall and Starbury's makes me cringe! Hopefully, there were matches to all of them...we lose *one* shoe to a bunch of pairs...can someone explain that? Anyone? haha
And unbelievably when we got home and opened our bags of clothes, there was this shiny foil package. We thought it was some kind of free store swag, like perfume samples or something. NOPE!!! It was two flour tortillas rolled up. We screamed and tossed the foil pack back and forth between us like it was a hot potato. IT TOTALLY FREAKED US OUT. Yeah, so it was just tortillas, but still you don't expect to find them in your new clothes! TOTALLY DISGUSTING!
We asked the check-out dude when we finally got to the front of the line--(only one checkout register was open and the line was a mile long)-- "What the heck happened to the store?" He said, "Why, what do you mean?" (Everytime he said a word that started with a 'w'--he would inadvertently spit out pico de gallo--little bits of onion and pepper--I had to actually wipe his food spittle from my face.) He continued to eat while he checked us out. There was a ton of fast food on the counters.
This is all absolutely true of the south side San Antonio store. The Mexican nationals come in and just infiltrate the store pulling merchandise off the shelves--no respect whatsoever--There was maybe 3 staffers in the entire 20,000 sq. foot store--the place is gigantic--with no employees around. One check-out dude WAS eating enchiladas with a checkout line a mile long. He was dripping rice and beans all over the clothes! I KID YOU NOT! The register had guacamole all over it!
I shopped at that store a few times and it's never looked that bad but they have only like 4 employees in the store so I feel bad because they are so understaffed.
I've worked retail in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Temple, Killeen and Waco and no place destroys a store like SA. They don't care, they have no respect and they will follow you around to destroy what you just recovered. What workers? with the payroll Steve and Barry's gives how would you ever clean that mess up?
Yeah im a keyholder at the indianapolis store and im pretty sure u guys would be fired!!! but where are the workers??? OH MY GOD!!! this is really bad.
I work for Steve & Barry's in Eagle Pass, Tx. Our store gets trashed like that as well!! Ur lucky that its only ur t-shirt sections and shoes. We get them all over the place. By the time we recover one area , they've already trashed the opposite side. I wonder why people just love to make a mess??!!??
Oh my sweet Jesus. Not even during the worst of Christmas season has our store looked that bad. Well, maybe the week before Christmas. But still. That makes me want to cry...
I work at Steve and Barry's in Spokane, WA. That video makes me sick to my stomach. Even at our worst, we never looked that bad. So glad to see I work at one of the better run locations, I guess.
