@chazzamb --Mars does have an atmosphere. About 95.3% carbon dioxide (CO2) and 2.7% nitrogen. it's a very thin atmosphere, roughly 100 times less dense than Earth's atmosphere. If Mars did not have an atmosphere then images taken from the surface of Mars would show a black sky, even during the day.-- I just assumed that the fire was due to the escaping oxygen and well RTD stated to Gary Russell (script editor) that there's a low level oxygen field around the base. :/
This was one of his best performances, everything from his giddy happy self to sad to completely angry, almost insane, this was a great special. Very nice video!
