  • tukong made me into the person i am today. my master was Master Silagi ^_^ he was a very good master and a good friend.

though currently my training in tukong came to a halt when i left texas due to work i do intend to go back one day. currently im training in Shotocon and my current master is very impressed with the respect and disipline i brought with me from tukong.

  • If you studied Tukong, please remember that master Yi teaches respect & to avoid needless violence. Yes, he is an "original". He was 27 when I knew him in Austin, and taught that if we ever were caught making trouble like bullies, he'd kick us out. He is kind, gentle, respectful & expert, having studied many styles.

  • I like it very impressive! Five Stars

  • SO COOL

  • i took tukong and tae kwon do. im a second degree black belt in tkd, and one under black in tukong. i can tell you, after taking both, tukong would destroy a tkd martial artist. come back to me with a real argument when you can spell "kind" and "effective." i would wipe the floor with your arrogant ass in 2 seconds.

  • That's so cool. I might be moving to Texas and any more information about Grandmaster Yi would be great.

  • Please visit our website at Fightingstunts dot com. or MasterYi dot com. You can also email questions about the Action Film Institute to Staff@fightingstunts dot com

  • There is a terrific Tukong school called Sanai in Oklahoma City, based around real fighting skills and practical special forces type combat techniques. I'm a student there myself. You can find the school's website at triple-W dot Sanai dot US.

  • grand master yi is the original you moron. he brought it from south korea like 30 years ago after he finished teaching the south korean special forces. his great grandfather started the style. get your facts right.

  • Yes it would be nice to have a new student!!!! It is a very nice school in Austin, all the people you meet, and all of the events that we do, like tournements and teaching the kids class. If you ever decide to come on down to Texas, we would be glad to have you.

  • Thanks for your comments! If you happen to visit Texas, come train with us!

  • I was fortunate enough to train in Tukong and met with Master Yi in Austin about 3 years ago. He really is a great teacher. I was a student of Mr. Hennigan in the Kerrville, Tx school. Although I don't live i an area that teaches tukong I do recommend it.. I sure miss it.

  • Thanks so much for your post! Master Yi is a great teacher and I have heard good things about Master Hennigan. If you're interested in getting into stunt work, check out our website at fightingstuntsdotcom. We currently have members from several states (and even members from England and France) and we update frequently with upcoming film jobs. We would love to hear from you!

  • @ernbjern web site is under construction, when will it be up?

  • Tukong. now that's the way to go. im from an acting institute, too. and i think that sanai tukong and acting go together quite well.
