All you guys r stupid . Your host guy b or p. I have 2007 Honda civic . And yesterday I beat some nice guy be hide me . I love my Honda civic . And if u font like that car shut the fuck up and don't buy it.
Stupid simple after see your video again. U don't anything !!!! Next time check how put your car in gear first . If u r blind chekhov your eye site . And next time D words in car .
I think the Civic would have more pep and get better mileage if it wasn't as bloated and big as it is. I know most cars in this segment have gotten bigger.
Too bad Honda "new" Civic is more of a warmed over version. The new Si looks better but it seems like Honda isn't trying. The competition is leaps and bounds better. Sure honda has good build quality and then you have the loyal followers. But i digress. Like the reviews and insight. I like that you keep it real, its nice.
@coolguyfu Haha that's what i was thinking exactly in my head after he said it was slow. I was like what are you comparing it to?!?! A brand new camaro, mustang, porche?? It's a civic and it does great for its 'class'.
about the driving makes u fall asleep man i extremely recommend that u drive one of the manuals. i have a 06 manual coupe with a few mods but my friend has a auto coupe just like mine and its no where close to keeping up with me. something about the auto trannys wants to keep the car out of vtec(shifts early). Great vid though lots of info i just recommend the manual
wow totally didn't even think of that! Thanks for commenting (and with an open mind), I would be totally open to revisiting the car with a manual. I am sure they are two completely different driving experiences.
i would agree with some of your statements about this car, but after test driving a month ago, im impressed with honda creating exterior and interior style that looks alot more expensive then it actually is. If you want to see a shitty car with bad interior plastics, check out the 2009-2010 corolla . Overall this car (in my opinion) gives you the best of both worlds. Good MPG, good exterior/interior styling and most importantanly awesome reliability.
yo are so right...the toyota corolla is bottom of the list! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. Design is an interesting thing because everyone looks at it differently.
Well it 100% is going to be different. Resale is always a hard thing, and the demand on the hybrid is strong enough for me to believe resale value will be ok. However, it will take a big hit once USA gets sharper about diesel technology
Your right on it being slow, I raced my Emo Asian friend on the Highway in my H3 (He has the '07 version, same in everyway though) and I was able to kick his ass, pretty sad considering our cars are both bone stock (Minus my rims XD)
Great review! Just watched it twice to digest all the information. The European civic that Honda sells here looks quite different, but I still could get a lot of value out of your review. In particular, the advice about buying a new one rather than a used one was very interesting. Would you say it applies across the whole Honda range?
So pumped you liked it! Ya I saw that on the net before, the euro version looks so different. The Hondas that keep their resale value the best is def the Civic, followed by the Accord. I would consider used on every car in their line up besides those 2 mainly. I would lean new over used if you can.
Very interesting, thanks for the advice. And what about Honda's hybrid cars, like the Insight? Do they have any resale value at all? :-)
I'm asking this because I'm following the new, upcoming Honda CR-Z, and the only thing I don't like about that car is that it is a hybrid. :-) Do you think there will be risk involved in buying the CR-Z, in terms of its resale value?
Im not a big an of hybrids--I generally like Diesel for the power. I think with Hybrids will be around for a while longer, but you will see more diesel products that will run laps around hybrids, as well as Electric, hydrogen powered etc. I cant give an honest take on the CR-Z since i havent driven it, and it hasnt hit the market. The selling price of that car will play a big role on how it does, and how resale is.
I'm not a big fan of hybrids either, but this one is supposed to be different, right? :-) At least that's what Honda's marketing department is saying.
Anyway, back to my original question; can you talk about the resale value of hybrid cars in general? Do you see people buying these used vehicles or are they afraid of the used batteries? In other words, do the hybrids depreciate in value faster than "normal" cars?
Im 16 dude i cant afford a $35000 car
