The best leader Britain never had,,,, brillant speaker and even more resonant as he's telling the truth.Funny the way you never hear the term 'career politician' in the controlled media.God Bless Nigel and keep up the struggle to expose the evaporation of national sovereignty.
I proudly put my X next to the UKIP candidates for the European Parliament this year on June 4th. I am plesed Nigel held his seat. It's about time this country had a politician who stood apart from the rest, who says what everyone else is thinking, who is competant and who stands up for Britain. Well done Nigel!
I gladly put my X in the UKIP box, and I'm glad Marta and Nigel were both elected. Our politicians are ignoring the fact that 70% of the UK is eurosceptic and wants to get out. Britain does not like being governed by foreigners. The French tried and failed. The Germans tried and failed. The Europeans are trying and will fail.
Brilliant Nigel, he is one of the only politician's not corrupted by the sleaze and greed, and who is active in the fight against against the corruption inside the EU in Belgium, UKIP has my vote in the upcoming euro elections, I hope many more will vote for UKIP as they are the one party who give a dam abought our sovereignty and are fighting for a referendum on the Lisbon treaty.
I hope Farage becomes our PM as leader of UKIP. Have you ever heard such a passionate and decent politician speak so consistently? I hope he never changes.
At last a politician who speaks honestly and sincerely. I am going to join your party and become active. I am already blogging on My Space about the EU and it would seem so many people are so unaware of what is happening. I love this new buzz word being thrown about by career politicians which is transparency. It is a joke, and am glad you are making it clear to the people of the UK. Long may it continue.
Good stuff. A question: what do you say the the people who pretend like we ARE still a sovereign nation, because even though the EU can impose its directives and judgements on us, we can THEORETICALLY leave whenever we want?
Further to that, what do you say to people who pretend that being singed up to the EU and bound by its terms is the same as being bound by the terms of (for example) the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty?
My response to the first question is typically: 'making that argument is like saying that an employee is sovereign over his boss because he reserves the right to quit his job.'
The simple fact is, as long as Britain is in the EU we are subordinate to its insitutions and its laws and we are subjected to the jurisdiction of the ECJ which can impose fines on us - as was the case in the landmark 1990 Factortame Case when Britain was fined £100 million.
Europe has been betrayed by an entire generation of politicians who are actively giving away the European continent to garnish votes. If the Europeans don't realize this and start doing something about it then the 21st century will be known as the age when Islam over ran Europe. That is not an extremist statement. This is just demographics. If Europeans don't act soon then Europe will simply be given to the Muslims by a political elite that is too tied to its policies too admit the truth.
It's a good music hall act – but he's hardly a serious politician. He appears to enjoy being in Brussels I suppose, but UKIP has not achieved a single Westminster seat under his leadership (unlike the Greens who now have an MP). After political failure during the General Election under Farage it's now time for a change.
@EUtruth Are you a parrot? Nigel was not the leader during the general election so at least try to get your facts straight when posting ridiculous comments.

I'm committed to secession myself, of course.

Nigel Farage is a good man. Assuming we do manage to get out of the EU soon, he will go down as a hero.
