Hope you had a great birthday. Checked out the blog, pretty cool. I have teetered on the verge of D/GM burn out, but I have tried at new tact and used guest D/GMs on those days that I really do not feel like playing. I would not suggest this without thoroghly discussing the do's and don'ts with the guest, of course. I am on a bit of a hiatus from RPGs and doing some tabletop wargames like AT-43.... I still look to you guys for the reviews though.... Have fun, good luck, and good gaming!
I've suffered from GM burnout several times. A friend of mine mentioned that there are some indie story games that try to alleviate this by giving more of the GM duties to players, or having the GM duties pass around the table. I'm more of a traditional RPGer, and I see these story games suffering in quality if the players have never been traditional GMs. Anyway, keep up the good work.
