This is from Preston 17 April 1979. My copy runs significantly faster than this, although that is probably too fast, and this one is probably a hair slow. Good concert. Thanks again for posting.
@MozzerRocks No it is not Midge Ure playing on this track. He joined Lizzy in July 1979 so he wasn't here for this show. Anyway the second half of the solo is so obviously Gary Moore, surprised you don't hear that.
Midge Ure wrote this song with Phil! Pure genius!!! I was always fascinated that Midge played in a popular rock band but I guess when opportunity knocks you answer.
This is from Preston, 17-4-'79. I'm a bigger fan of the Robbo years, but this is an awesome concert, my favourites on it are the songs from Black Rose.
Jailbreak, Emerald, etc. aren't the same without Robbo, but there are brilliant versions of 'Do Anything You Want To, 'Waiting for an Alibi' and 'Black Rose' from this concert.
Ah yeah, that is a weird one. Normally I pass up those compilation bootlegs because I'm the type of person that wants complete concerts, but I might have to get this just for this track alone. The quality is quite good, and it's one of my favorite songs.
Not a bad effort apart from the lack of singing in the opening lines. Any chance of getting a live version of 'with love' and 'borderline' on youtube?

Actually that IS Midge Ure playing on this track. He was in the band for at the time of this show before he went back to Ultravox.
