Im 5'4" and im 16. I play 2nd base. I love the red sox. And when i first heard of dustin pedroia. He was my role model from then on. Everybody tells me im to short to play ball. But i think of dustin and i just walk away and prove to them that i can. Im just like him i hustle my best for everything and dive for everything. Im not very fast and dont have a very good bat but i work my hardest just like he does. Dustin has a heart that everybody that plays needs to have.

this is pretty cool im only a freshman i play on varsity and yesterday i went 3 for 4 im not no power but i hit the ball hard dive for everything and work hard every single day. you dont have to be 6ft to play baseball you got to show you want it how bad you want it and get dirty every single time you get on that field.

he isn't short. The average height of an American Male is 5FT 9 inches. He's only an inch away from the average height. I'm 5ft 10, and when i stand next to people who are 5ft 8, they are almost at the same eye level as me. So i don't consider 5ft 8 short. If you think about short stature, think 5ft 5 and below.

Personally, i think that people focus way to much on the big stats, hr rbi avg, but no one ever looks at the most important stuff like obp and extra base hits and walks. That's the stuff that theo looks at and thats why theo loves this guy.
