I dont think thats the case, I think once Kinect sees your trying to scratch it, itll just play an animation and not really mimic your hand movement.

in an earlier video they said 1/1 motion response. you move, they move, not you do something, and we may figure out what your doing and give you a prerendered animation. This could redefine gaming once done. Kinect fighting games with Game Monitor glasses, would feel like your IN the game.

Kinect guitar games would be designed to replicate a real guitar, and so if you play on the game your actually learning how to play on a real guitar.

Hmmm... Well I can't say I'm as doubtful about the Keinect as everybody else seems to be. Honestly I think it looks kind of cool. However much like the Eye-Toy before it I think the novelty value will wear off pretty quickly. It looks like one of those things a family will get at Christmas and be all like "hey it's so awesome, let's all try it out", but will never be used after that. Seriously, it looks cool but looks like it can only be fun for a couple of hours.
