i have the game, and the orbs look fine, but yes they don't look like blood like in the first game, this is because now there IS, LOTS!, of real blood, splashing everywhere and even staying on kratos' body

because kratos killed his wife and child and he wanted the gods to take his nightmares away but they dint so in the second one kratos went mad with power and zeus killed him so kratos turned bac time with the help of gaia so with the help of gaia and the titans his trying to end the gods basicly the games are trying to explain why the greek myths died away because kratos killed them all!
