This is an amazing robot...It can stand in one leg...it can do push ups and automatically stand up if it falls down...I'm planning to buy this.....I just love this toy.

the advanced robots you see on youtube are still being tested and we may never see a robot more advanced than this for several years and even then this toy will still be considered advanced! years of testing and developing went into isobot and you should consider all the work robotics scientists put into this. sure it has a childish voice but remember it's just a toy made for japanese children! if youve ever been to japan you would know this.

i'd be happy to explain...the excitment is not really so much about this one little robot, but what its abilites forcast for the future. It can walk backwards/forwards/sideways, summersault, splits, and get itself back up off the floor. this bodes well for the future of robotics.

It barely can lift it's legs at all. Would be great for exploring biped locomotion and learning how those robots work, or as a toy. However if you had the time, or money, I would advise the larger ones.
