duels of the planeswalkers is pretty shit... it has some fancy graphics and all that, but no deck building, no actual card collecting and it doesnt even have all the abilities :/

it might be fun for an hour or 2, but MTG:online is actual magic on the computer, even tho it costs money to buy boosters, you start out with 1000 cards anyway so you can customise from the start

shandalar is a great game too, old as hell but easily modded and has all the good stuff in it as well, solo play only tho

I'm surprised you didn't mention what a downer it is playing with such a limited deck set of only 80-something cards each, and having your lands auto filled in for you. Ugh. I'd have much rather had ALL the cards in a bunch and made my own deck. I'm a blue black player, almost exclusively. And did it ever strike you that the AI could have 0 cards in hand, and always seems to draw exactly the right card?

i use to play magic the gathering until I got married, I still have my 3 black lotus in my classic deck, and some of the newer cards, at one point I was an uber nerd at this game haha... I saw this vid because I heard of this game, and amazed how far they came, so thinking of getting a cracked version, not sure to test it before buying it. i never buy movies/games before watching/playing them for free first =) thanks for the vid! and have a good one.

the 2012 game is better. all steps to your turn are laid out better and the stack timer is easier to see and know when you can stop it and respond. the "attack, block, damage" steps from the last game were just silly, i know all of that is tied with combat so theres no point giving them their own indicator. also its easier to edit decks in 2012

This game is probobly the worst game i have ever played on ps3. If i had payed a cent for this game i'd fucking flip out. But it was free, so i'll just hate MagicTheGathering for a few days.
