you have to have a mic for anything that records sound, unless there is a mic built into your computer like some of the macs do.

I use it sometimes, the reason I don't use it more is because I like to use windows movie maker for I use HyperCam 2 even though it has the small logo in the corner.

I recommend you to use Camstudio instead of HyperCam. Just google it.

It's a free tiny program, and a LOT better than HyperCam ;)

Yeah, you can use your headset.

The quality of the audio isn't super good, but it's good enough.
