  • Idk why blackout was so weak at the end (the part where he dies)

  • blackout was always my favorite decepticon to play as in the transformers game and ironhide was my favorite autobot

  • "If you do not comply we will use deadly force."

Blackout: I'll show these insects the meaning of deadly force.

  • @insideous57 they should have put that in the movie

  • Its all about megatron and blackout

  • Love Blackout's plasma wave, you would have to be at least 500 yards away not to get killed by that thing. And like that propeller-like cape

  • Blackout in this sequence it's outstanding!

Espacially in the very moment when takes off with his giant hand the power core.

    hiiaaalah alla issa ohnna...

  • I always imagine an epic battle to the death when I hear this piece of music.

  • I orgasmed in the theater after seeing this scene. Goosebumps and sweat.

  • @Xenomorph237 just read a bit about transformers 3 on ign, critics say it's as good, if not better then the first, and WAY better then part 2

  • It sounds kinda like Hans Zimmer's Batman theme, but still got Steve Jablonksy written all over it.

  • @eolingars

the film credits a special thanks to Hans Zimmer who worked with Jablonsky on the scores for the Transformers film. Zimmer is the Executive Score producer

  • Sounds like Pirates of the Carribean because Hans Zimmer is the executive score producer of both Transformers films. Jablonsky is his protege and the recording of the scores was done in Zimmer's studios. At the end of Revenge of the Fallen there is a special credit tha nks to Hans Zimmer

  • Jongmagee Steve jablonsky

  • to clear things

    up people

i know Neil Jablonsky did this soundtrack

i was just replying to another guys about Hanz Zimmer

  • @jongmagee Hanz Zimmer contributed to the transformers' score!!!!

  • @BishonChris

    oh okay

  • sounds a bit like pirates of the caribbean in the beginning

  • according to wikipedia Hanz zimmer only made the main theme for MW2 the rest was made by some scot named lorne bath

  • Hanz Zimmer did help write and compose some of the scores as Jablonsky was recording the scores in his studio. You can clearly hear the scores have Zimmer's influence. If you look at the end credits there is a SPECIAL THANKS TO HANS ZIMMER in Revenge of the FALLEN

  • I love this Music.

But it makes Me have dreams of blackout chasing me

  • hahah

  • hans zimmer's list of scores goes on forever!! he's amazing! although in some of them he had other people too he's still awsome!!! some others are : *Spirit*, *Pearl Harbor*, *The Prince of Egypt*, Tears of the Sun, Madagascar, Shark Tale, Kung Fu Panda, The Rock, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, *The Road to Eldorado*, *Pirates of the Caribbean*, Spanglish, and Thunderbirds. Just a few more :D

  • this isnt hans zimmer. i think he produced the score, but it was written by one of his proteges: Steve Jablonsky.

hans zimmer mightve helped tho who knows?

  • @paulpanhook i know that but he still was a main producer and i was just listing some of his other works cuz i love his music.

  • @aquaromo oh ok

  • and plus look at the credits man...

  • no hans zimmer

  • does anyone know where I can download this song as mp3 ? I really like it .. It's not in the official score

  • fungboy3, you forgot Crimson Tide, Zimmer's most infamous score and the one that revolutionized movie score music and put him on the map!

  • @WheelsRCool

    oh yes plus Rainman 1988

I was watching ROTF last night and there was a " SPECIAL THANKS to HANS ZIMMER" credit right at the end

  • @WheelsRCool

plus DAYS OF THUNDER AND LAST SAMURAI

ZImmer also composed the scores for the Sherlock Holmes movie that also come out recently

  • Also, The road to Eldorado. Not AS famous but still a good movie

  • grindor and blackout do look the same.

  • I LIKE IT ;)))

  • Blackout=Sikorsky MH-53 Pave Low

    Grindor= Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion

    their not the same.

  • Comment removed

  • Saying the soundtrack to a movie from 2007 "sounds like" the soundtrack to a movie from 2008, is the best way to ask people to rate your ass down.

Unless you're a time traveler and gave the scores to the composer from Transformers after you saw Dark Knight in the future.

  • Actually Batman Begins is the influence to this scores in this movie and that came out in 2005 !! Composed by Hans Zimmer who is the Executive Score producer for the Transformer films

  • tis osundtrack was awesome, i bought it, no matter how geeky that sounds.

  • SOunds a bit a little like "THis Land" from the lion king in the intro and a portion of the thematic principle while in the minor line...

  • that thing just saw me,he came right after me...

  • Steve Jablonsky really out did himself with the music

  • Where did you get this version with the intro?

  • bogeys on the deck...

  • 4500 X something's not right

  • sounds like the day after tomorow

  • BLACKOUT AND STARSCREAM FTW!!!

  • most epic entrance in transformers 1

    0-1:15

  • i cant find this song! are you sure it is the right title?

  • I just love Blackout's Tsunami plasma/energy wave. It is equivalent to our nature's Tsunami. It sweeps the US base clean. Plus i like that distinctive sound once he fires it onto the ground brings alot more fear to the battlefield.

Such remarkable weaponry and my favourite Decepticon.

  • the best SFX i have ever heard is jengo fetts plasma depth chargers lol! yea dude, my face decepticon too! \m/

  • @bigmofodeal Barricade is my favourite Decipticon then Star Scream then the epic Blackout! OwO

  • anyone know what the music is when they are fighting the scorpion like robot?

  • Scorponok

  • scorponok

  • just a great piece of music

  • i love the first part of transformers

when blackout attacks the base with his thunderclap wave emitter

that thing just destroys everything including airplanes

  • This is my favorite part of the movie.. so epic and tragic in the same way.

  • maybe its like the twins ;D

  • he is cool, but didnt he died along with scorponok?

why are they in the ROTF?

  • in ROTF is not Blackout. It's Crindor

  • Grindor not crindor

    ______

  • scorpinok didnt die he fled

  • Scorponok 's tail got broken by sabot rounds so he fled and repaired it

That was Grindor ( Blackout 's brother ??)

  • clone

  • yea they scanned the same helicptor type

  • nope, it's sort of a bit different. blackout scans a MH-53 while grindor scans a Ch-53... i checked at wikipedia..

  • yea thats probablt why grindor was so much bigger than blackout

  • he is? i didn't notice that.

  • yea grindor was like twice prime's size and twice blackout's size

  • wikipedia is sometimes fake tbh..

  • The scene when Blackout attacks is a very good beginning for this movie, people get directly amazed by it, and it makes those people who think that the movie seem to be ridicolous numb by the action:)

  • i rember when i was in the i-max theater and when blackout transformed i was soooo excited cant wait to see the 2nd one.

  • @BoyBlueberry blackout is my favourite decepticon, Hes the greatest^^

  • blackout is one of my favourite

the initial scene from transformers 1, it drives me crazy... when it ends, when he with his waves destroying theplabns andkilling those soldiers, some 2 seconds the screen turn black, this 2 seconds are some of the best in my life

  • Blackout PWNS!

  • llamaboy

the f-22 's did provide cover, watch it again, in the end the f22's shot megatron with missiles

  • at the beginning. no they did not.

  • watch it again, they couldnt at the beggining coz they already landed, look at the sky , the sky was orange when they where still flying and night when blackout attacked, by that time those planes have already landed,

  • I don't know the Field Manual page for dealing with Autonomous Robotic Organisms having taken the form of a brand new 5th generation fighter and begun -battering- your flight from within the formation itself.

Seems like the sort of thing you'd handle off the cuff.

  • What I mean is, the fighters at the beginning were escorting the helicopter to the base. I want to know why once it landed the F-22s decided to ignore the entire base blowing up and fly away.

  • the raptors never had a chance to fly away once they landed, plane dont just fly from the hangar in just 30 seconds, not including the pilot to get ready to fly , if you add that the base has been already destroyed before they could fly, blackout destroyed the base in just more or less 1 minute

  • Now that I can stand with. There isn't a single thing on that base that looks REMOTLEY like waves of Blue Energy, and I doubt much looks like exploding barracks and detonating C-130's.

Why the Raptors didn't help Blackout get his robotic ass lit like a Christmas tree the moment he fired the first wave I don't know, -unless- the first one hit the F-22's.

But that feels like reaching to me.

  • A) The Raptors and most means of evacuation were destro-no obliterated not to metion the rest of the base

  • " Pilot turn off you engines and stand down or we will kill you!"

  • I like blackout's equipment (the blue wave stuff that blows everything). And i think his transformation is one of the best of the 2 Transformers movies.

  • blackouts awesome he kickes fuckin butt

  • Blackout was the best in the first one. in the second one, alot of people took his place.

*SPOILER WARNING* he gets owned by optomis in the second movie.

  • That's not Blackout in the second movie. Blackout gets killed by Lennox in the first movie in Mission City.

Transformers 2 has Grindor. Bay should have made it more obvious that it was a different helicopter in #2. But yea, Grindor gets owned.

  • the best moment ibegin at 1:14

  • It's a bit complicated. Does he deserve to be called Grindor or Blackout (in T2) ? So just because of the new head, he became Grindor... but the rest of the body was Blackout's.

Blackdor ou Grindout should make it...

  • çok güzel

  • does it ever say in the MOVIE that he is grindor not blackout

  • It isn't stated in the movie because Grindor dies before he even get's a chance to speak. Remember Blackout died in the first and it's stated in background details(and for the toy figure) that Scorponok rebuilt Blackout with a new head as Grindor.

  • well that makes sense, but I am going to call Grindor blackout

  • download link

  • No Scorponok took Blackout's remains and rebuilt him into Grindor, the difference is the color and the head.

  • well wht u sed is kinda true but i don't think the part about scorponok is. whyy wud blackouts remains be still in the city when the government wanted to clean up the alien mess - let alone wud a single minion be able to recreate his master. Grindor is blackouts clone

  • blackout totally owns

  • beleive it

he was teh first decepticon to appear in transformers i think...

and he totally owned that military base, it was epic

  • He was the first transformer to appear and to transform

  • i love this music

  • my favorite decepticons is barricade and black out and the autobots is bumblebee and optimus

  • wow shame lol blackout is powerful and tactical

    baricade is brutal

bumblebe is skilled ,brave and loyal

and optimus is powerful, strong, tactical brave and loving

    :)

  • blackout is awesome, too bad he died though( grindor is blackouts brother, i think)

  • the begining is epic!!

  • this is my favorite song on the score

the real name of it is Soccent Attack

    great music!

  • this is one of my favorite themes

    arrival and scorponok

  • my favorite decepticons are Blackout and Starscream.

  • Reminds of the Dark Knight music

  • "All your base are belong to us"

Also, for anyone, Sephiroth's english voice actor will be providing his voice in RotF... He has surpassed Optimus as my Favorite movie transformer *Bayformer*

  • Really?! thats interesting...

  • blackout is probably one of my favs!

  • dude Blackout PWNS!

  • he did die, but i think in the second movie galvatron (supercharged megatron) gets to revive one of the decepticons and he chose blackout. something like that.

  • SPOILERS!!!!!!not Galvatron still Megs. Blackout doesnt get revived its like his"twin" Grindor.

  • ohh ok no wonder I was like wait? I thought he died and how could he be in good condition

  • no grinda is blackout

like megatron he had added parts to him when he was revived

    and wtf twin?

Transformers arnt like humans they dont have familys

the only family members are optimus and prime and thats it

  • No Grindor ISN'T Blackout, and I said "Twin" because they look alike. And black out doesnt get revived, go see the movie.

  • you mean sam revived optimus prime?

  • err nope sorry dude.. its not blackout.. its like blackouts twin called, grindor.. they look so alike.. but look up at wikipedia to find the characters

  • I agree, i doubt theres a twin. consideirng there pretty much the same, I support your theory.

  • sorry nerd dont choke on your burger its only a film

  • no not neesseearly see the second you'll be shocked

  • I've seen the second already, I've checked on the official site, I've seen everything to do with Grindor and Blackout. Grindor is not a clone: he is Blackout with a new head and recoloured armour thanks to Scorponok.

  • no actually mudflap and skids are twins so...and so is sideswipe and sunstreaker

  • Actually they reproduce, but since your such an expert...

  • does anyone recognized this score in Xmen Orgins: Wolverine?.. The 1st part of the movie, The Scene where they raid the Omaha Beach .. haha

  • ok sweet! i was right thx for the reply!

  • They buried the Decepticons in the sea due to the theory that the intense pressure would crush their bodies to be ever operative again

  • God I love this Transformers music.! The part where Epps zooms in Blackout is at 2:38

  • 1:20 awesome starting bit

  • BLackouts the helicopter transformer right?(god its bin along time since i seen transformers)

  • im listaning to this whilst doing my english homework

  • Ah I love this soundtrack. One of my favorite things about this movie was the sounds - the soundtrack and the transformer *sounds*! I mean, who didn't LOVE hearing that transforming sound on big f-ing speakers?

  • I like the sounds they make when they transform, its so robotic and technilogical(if i said that right)

  • Techn(O)ligical, well done :)

  • lol thx

  • Incorrect. Steve Jablonsky is returning to do the score for the second film, but this time he'll be working with Linkin Park on the entire musical piece. In fact, you can hear their collaboration on the new trailer that came out with Wolverine. It's a slightly softer remix of "What I've Done" And as for the Hans Zimmer thing, rumor is that he mentored Jablonsky, which is why his name keeps popping up, but he has absolutely nothing to do with scoring ROTF or any other TF property.

  • and the movie is coming out in June 26 not may

  • Steve Jablonsky was composing and recording the transfomers score in Hans Zimmer's recording for the first film and Zimmer gets credit for some of the scores see Wiki

  • Hans Zimmer is the composer of the Batman scores for BAtman Begins and Dark Knight

  • And Gladiator, and Pirates of the Caribbean (2 and 3 and partially 1), and oh so much more.... *love for Zimmer*

  • slammin

  • Ooohh, kinda eerie at the beginning. I like it though, especially at 1:13, when the battle music starts!

  • wasnt this film before dark knight? id like to see bat man argue that its his tone with blackout, that would be a short argument for the batman

  • yeah but what im saying is it sounds like something that came out in the dark knight.and since that similar sound i heard from this vid also came from batman. then clearly batman came first then transformers ^^. just saying, im not proving you wrong or insulting you in anyway
