    Nice one son!

    Nice one Rory,

    Let's have another one!

  • I like this songs so much I can't stop watching-vintage Rory-doesn't get better than this--it's RORY!!

  • 2 great songs here!

  • id ride rory gallagher

  • Few days ago, my 15 year son discovered this song. He couldn't stop playing the chords on his guitar and singing it over and over again. Next morning he had to treat his fingers that were destroyed after having played the song for .... several hours. I cried for you Rory, listening to this wonderful rag. You will always be the best. I hope new generations discover and remember you for ever.

  • Magical Rory

    We miss you

    RIP

  • Rory !!

    Rory !!

Rory !! As good as live music gets (hair and sidies too).....

  • Thanks Lelio, this is a great video! great!

  • Rory Gallagher rocks, doesn't he?

Thanks for commenting and for e-mailing me. I'll reply to you ASAP.

  • With Rory it's always magic!!!

  • great stuff.

  • that was the best thing I've ever seen.

Thanks for the music Rory, you will live on forever.

    -cheers from Canada

  • You know when ever I watch Rory I always find myself wishing he and Stevie Ray could've played together. I can't really think of two blues muscians who were as dedicated to their music as those two were and I doubt we'll see the likes of Rory and Stevie again

  • Hi Goat, two blues guys you might not have heard of that were truly great in their own ways were, Rainer Ptacek and John Campbell. Now imagine this: Rory, Stevie, John and Rainer all up there in heaven playin' the best blues gig you've ever seen!!! Yeah and Robert J sits in half way through the gig. That's my kinda gig.

  • I couldn't agree more

  • and one day we'll all be up there having a jam with 'em all, keep the blues alive, (Y) Peace Out!

  • yeah, me sooner than expect. oh well, way it goes.

  • Yeah that would be a great duet. But there is a video on you tube of a tribute to both of rory and stevie.

  • No disrespect to any other modern day blues guitarist and singer, but Rory was the best of them all, no doubt about it. He's the best that ever lived. God Bless, Rory.

  • He sure was.

  • agreed..best of them all

  • Agreed! Great, great guitarist and an awesome singer

  • @BlindLemonJaffaCake

well I dont know about best. Best is subjective, but Rory is my favorite, and there is no equivication. Lot a great pickers in the world, different strokes and all, but Rory's range in styles and his respect for the music and his fans is unparalelled. RIP Rory, will meet you someday in the great beyond and I will personally thank you.

  • best blues man to ever walk the earth

    amen

  • MAGIC

  • Fantastic

  • he lived up the road from me in cork by douglas baths,im in london now, love hearing going to my home town

  • love this song got the version with ronnie drew on cd really good

  • This is such a nice song. I love listening to Rory's voice!

  • Over the years I got to know Rory well. For my money the most feeling guitarist whoever trod the earth. Now gone to his home town. God bless ya, boy.

    Robbie

  • Wow, what a nice comment, Robbie. I became a fan of Rory Gallagher after listening to him on the radio, lol.

  • Maybe the best guitarplayer of all times this man, he makes clapton look like a cissy. A pity the man died...

  • i was always wondering this guy plays better guitar or singing and what a great tone - also check him on the acoustic

  • I simply fell in love with this song. I heard it once on the radio. Then I decided to look for the song and its singer. Later on I found out that I've become a Rory's fan.

  • "Rory makes Clapton look like a Baby."

You got it, man. He was raw power! An intuitive guitarist. He never played a song the same way twice. I miss him.

  • Rory is the symbol of the modern blues. He was such an amazing guitarist.

  • I also miss him. He really is the Irish spirit of blues.

  • amen! Gallagher makes me speechless, which is good, so i dont talk during his music. haha.

  • Like all greatest artist he is most recognized after his end on earth.

Rory makes Clapton look like a Baby.

  • Really, I think he was the king of the blues for the time he was alive. Just like the late great Robert Johnson, Rory was cut short way before his time. The man never let a crowd down. I hope to be as good of a singer/songwrite/guitar player someday. (not gonna play a mondolin though, lol, Goin to my Hometown)

  • Wow! Excellent version of both tunes. Rory will always be one of the top blues geniuses!

  • I do like him. He's great!

  • In my opinion, Rory was the Irish B.B. King. I do like him and these songs are amazing.

  • What a feeling ! This man WAS the blues !

  • I got this feeling when I first listened to Rory Galagher. Rory rocks, shocks, rules.

  • Thanks bretodeau,Rory is the best!

  • This guy is absolutely fantastic!
