my house was struck by lightning in the chimney. i didn't c it but my mother did. she was in her 20's, sitting by the fire during a lightning storm, when lightning struck the chimney. A ball of lightning flew out of the fireplace and floated to the middle of the room, thereby exploding. wish i could've seen it. another time lightning struck between my house and my uncle's house and fried his television xD. lighting almost struck in the same place twice!

The Ball was something is called Plamsa ... its like a rare form of elements and energy... it was from the fire in the fire place reacting with the EXTREME energy from the bolt of lightning.. the Temperature of the room most likely made the Plasma explode because of the super cooling effect...

wow the camera really didn't like the available lighting when you it down the picture.
i was in a building that was struck by lightning once, it was a fairly scary experience, esp. since a co-worker grabbed me and pulled me down to the ground. --that coupled with the noise of it hitting the roof and the glass windows behind us shaking
